Whizzybee, congratulations! I hope you're both doing well. Massive well done on the exclusive feeding, if you can then it's so very worthwhile for you both. I'm still bfing at 14 months. I remember the explosive poos too well! I've never eaten a korma since :rotfl:0

Hi,
I was looking back through this a thread to read my posts about DS1. Was interesting, I'd already forgotten so much. It's useful to have recorded information about what we did with weaning and sleep etc.
He's 2 next month.
See if I can resurrect the thread for people who have had recently or are soon to be having their babies.
DS2 is 6 weeks old tomorrow, he's low centile but gaining weight steadily and following the curve.
He's starting to look more and more alert and interacting more with us. Not certain if we've had a proper responsive smile yet - but lots of !!!373;indy and sleepy smiles.
He has such strong legs! Midwife commented on it when she was trying to do heel !!!!! test and she just couldn't hold his foot steady.
Gave him some tummy time yesterday on the playmat and he turned himself and was almost crawling, really wriggling those legs around and managing to move himself.
He's also quite happy having tummy time, DS1 hated it the second we rolled him over he wanted to be on his back again.
Sleep isn't great at the moment. But neither is it awful. He's sleeping for 1-2 hours between feeds at night but he's being quite sicky at the moment so we're having to hold him upright for quite a while before putting him in his crib.
He is happy to sleep in the crib though at least! DS1 took several weeks to get used to it, h used to wake up and cry the second he was put down.
Generally seems like a very happy and chilled out little man so far.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Congratulations Freddie! I hope you're all keeping well and enjoying being a family of 4.
It's crazy to think we're almost at the 2 year mark now, looking back it's just flown by. Such an amazing and challenging 2 years, and worth every minute.0 -
It is mad how quickly the time goes by.
It feels like it's even faster now with two - just from being so busy.
We've had to stick to routines for DS1's sake which has helped by forcing us to be organised. So in many ways it's actually been easier - but we have a lot less time to just sit and watch him sleeping etc.
DS2 is already looking so much older. He's 7 weeks old today which is insane!
Health visitor came a few days ago to check him. He's gone up a centile in weight - from 2nd to 9th.
His length though is between 50th and 75th, which we didn't expect. Must be the strong, long legs that he's got.
Maybe he's going to be an athleteMortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
