The pineapple and banana crumble came about because I had some 'nanas that needed using up, and I didn't want to make banana bread/cake.
I realised they'd cook down to be too soft to just do crumble on their own; then I remembered the frozen pineapple chunks (I buy pineapples when they're cheap on the market, Mr LW cuts them into chunks, and I sling them in the freezer) so I used some of those to give it some "body" iyswim.
It was actually very good. :o
i really dislike hot bananas and I also really dislike hot pineapple and I'm not sure I like them together hot or cold so that sounds a nightmare dish for me. It's all down to personal taste though of course. Some people can't stand the thought of cheese and jam sandwiches but I love them. :)

Haven't read the whole thread but one of my favourite combinations is walnut & brie in a sandwich.

Used to eat this nearly every day when I used to buy lunch at work (many years ago before MSE, LOL!)

My sons favourite sandwich, cheese, ham and salt &vinegar crisps, it's good. Though other flavours work great. I thought no, though I like a crisp sandwich, it's yum.
