    _pale_ :D

thought of another - Co-op make a beetroot & apple bread; Tesco, a cashew, raisin & fig; Sainsbury's, a fig & walnut - all of these toasted are fab with a chicken liver pate, or a mackeral & horseradish one :)

My OH's favourite breakfast is marmite on toast cut into soldiers and a hot chocolate because he dips the marmite soldiers into the drink!

It was this that inspired me to get him a marmite chocolate easter egg this year :D

My 'irresistible combination' is blue cheese and figs.

The pineapple and banana crumble came about because I had some 'nanas that needed using up, and I didn't want to make banana bread/cake.
I realised they'd cook down to be too soft to just do crumble on their own; then I remembered the frozen pineapple chunks (I buy pineapples when they're cheap on the market, Mr LW cuts them into chunks, and I sling them in the freezer) so I used some of those to give it some "body" iyswim.
It was actually very good. :o
