crisp sandwich - a lamb chop sandwich is very good too

salad cream on chips
brown sauce on toast
burnt fish fingers in a sandwich
bacon, egg & tomato
sausage, egg & baked beans
cheese, lettuce and white pepper sandwich
beetroot and cheddar sandwich
peaches on cornflakes
dates stuffed with cream cheese & cointreau
cream crackers or Bath Oliver with any cheese
golden syrup on crumpets

ham & onion sandwiches - I like carbs

asparagus with bacon wrapped around

My OH's favourite breakfast is marmite on toast cut into soldiers and a hot chocolate because he dips the marmite soldiers into the drink!
It was this that inspired me to get him a marmite chocolate easter egg this year

ice cream with cream poured over the top so it sets :0)
roasted cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar ( on ciabatta if I must, but I eat them out of the dish straight from the oven! )
and only discovered since moving north ... chips and chip shop curry sauce!0 -

The pineapple and banana crumble came about because I had some 'nanas that needed using up, and I didn't want to make banana bread/cake.
I realised they'd cook down to be too soft to just do crumble on their own; then I remembered the frozen pineapple chunks (I buy pineapples when they're cheap on the market, Mr LW cuts them into chunks, and I sling them in the freezer) so I used some of those to give it some "body" iyswim.
It was actually very good.
