Of course custard and cream go together. Else we wouldn't love custard cream biscuits so much :D

I’m with you Callie on the Shepherd’s/Cottage pie and pickled red cabbage combo (another Northerner here). :D

Cheshire cheese and chutney, any kind (or pickled beetroot)
Red cheese and raw onion sandwiches
Crusty bread with a generous spreading of butter
Apple and white crumbly cheese sandwich (or in a pie with custard)
Sliced tomatoes with a splash of vinegar and a sprinkle of sugar
Bread or toast spread with dripping (not forgetting the brown bits)
    Black pudding and piccalilli sandwiches
    Apple and cinnamon (or nutmeg)
    Banana (as above)
    Pear and ginger
    Crispy bacon and tomato sandwiches
    Sausage and mushrooms
    Coffee with fresh cream
Brown/wholemeal sandwiches filled with fresh crab
    Cherries and chocolate

All in all, there’s not much I don’t like! ;)
Be kind to others and to yourself too.

Milk chocolate and ready salted crisps, discovered this accidentally at a Birthday party when I was about six. Place crisps in mouth and
chew, then pop in a cube of milk choc and voila!

oooooohh - I thought this was only me! I lurve this combination.... but once, years ago, you could get chocolate flavoured crisps. Not the same thing at all.:(

    Bacon and avocado
    peanut butter and banana
    yogurt and honey
    port and stilton
    medjool dates and nut butter
    goats cheese, pear and walnut

But, under no circumstances, eat camembert with strawberries. Tastes like vomit.....
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Peanut butter and cheese, or peanut butter and celery.
Salad cream on toast works surprisingly well, as does Dairy Lea on toast.

Floss, I'm moving in with you. That's my sort of food. Left to my own devices .I would live on Cheese and Something sandwiches and cheese on toast.
