Back from a weekend away that involved far too much red wine .....I think I'm going to have to go down the low alcohol route - any suggestions?

I've been for a swim & will have to go twice more if I'm to stand a chance of at least standing still this week - would have loved to have got to 3.5 stone but think that's a couple of weeks off now.

Going to prepare tomorrow's Asian Beef with ginger & boy chok....at least it's full of speed lol

It is a little weird as it seems like a blink of the eye, but also ages ago since her loss.

Putting bread in seems a waste to me - you've either got to use your HEB or syn it! At least potatoes are free.
Best to use them sliced. I also never add any milk to the eggs, just whisk the eggs and add a drop of water to break down the whites, works really well. Also do that when I do scrambled eggs.

Thanks Denise. Will definitely try that next time. One question though - in the recipe I used, the bread was soaked in milk and then whisked with the eggs, tuna, and grated carrots to make a sort of gloop. If I use potatoes, do I boil them first? And how do I add them in so they are evenly spread out? Sorry...I did say I am a rubbish cook. :o

In other news, today didn't go quite as planned. In fact I didn't write everything down for the first time ever. Let me see if I can work it out here:

B: Melon & coffee made with 300ml semi skim milk
L: Tuna frittata, half a dosa (5 syns), tomato chutney (0.5 syn)
D: HM cottage pie, steamed veg
    Snacks: Muller Light

HEA: will count the milk and cheese in the frittata & cottage's pie and some of the milk in the coffee
    HEB: 2 Hi Fi bars

    Syns:
    Dosa - 5
    Chutney - 0.5
    Milk - 5
    Bread - 2
    Chocolate -2.5

    Exactly 15 syns!

I don't think I will get much of a loss this week; I usually don't when I am close to maxing my syns out. One more day to WI!

Morning all... So sorry that I haven't posted the chart :(

OH had a mental breakdown on Sunday so I've obviously been trying to sort that out and all that entails, doctors appointments etc.

I will try and post it tonight, as it's the last week, but please bear with me.

Obviously going forward I'm not going to have the time to start a new challenge so if anyone wants to pick up the mantle (mantel?) then please feel free.

    Xx
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.
