But what is different about there chilli, spag bol and cottage pie to yours?

    also could do curry

The minced beef OH brought home this morning from the market was really really fatty.......... I fried it up in it's own fat and drained it.... I now have a margarine container full of beef fat.... which is lovely and tasty if you are not on a diet.

They have ate a full tray of lasagna, there is another one, 2 cottage pies, spag bol x2 and chilli x 2 in the freezer.

I think they would complain if I used less than 5 % fat (they tell me that fat is good for you.... if you are fit..:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

One woman at my group eats nothing but SW meals and the odd bit of fruit. She has been Slimmer of the Week more than once but never takes the winners basket as she says she wouldn't eat it.

I usually keep a couple in the fridge for emergencies (ready meals not baskets)!

My day went as planned except for dinner. OH (who is a chef) had made chickpea curry and I just couldn't resist. Still, I had a moderate portion (though no speed free as couldn't face any more steamed veg!) and synned it and am still under 15 syns so hopefully no harm done.

Goodnight all! Good luck for the week ahead. My WI is on Wednesday - hoping for a 2lb loss.

Wow another weekend of everyone posting lots.

    Welcome Mouche.
Well done Esmy, Wizkid, Orlao, AlwaysHappy and SunshineMummy on your losses.
Hugs for Tweets for your gain, and good NSV TakeItEazy with all your clothes being loose.

Weekend not been great for food or body magic, but I was good before the weekend so fingers crossed for tomorrows weigh in.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
    Lunch - cheese salad
    Dinner - beef stir fry
Snacks - strawberries, cherries, blueberries, grapes, popcorn and cereal bars

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - cereal bars
    Syns - popcorn (2.5)
Body magic - aiming for 7000 steps and 15 active minutes.

One body magic/exercise question: Does anyone else find themselves really really hungry when they exercise more? I am eating good meals, but I am still ending up starving, and not always dealing with it with the correct foods

Good question Denise! The simple answer is that I am a rubbish cook and so follow recipes exactly :D This one was from the twochubbycubs website - they do SW recipes.

I have to say the frittata is really substantial though so possibly that's why. I'll try potatoes next time if I'm feeling brave. Thanks for the idea.

Putting bread in seems a waste to me - you've either got to use your HEB or syn it! At least potatoes are free.
Best to use them sliced. I also never add any milk to the eggs, just whisk the eggs and add a drop of water to break down the whites, works really well. Also do that when I do scrambled eggs.

    Moan time

Just walked the dog with OH, he asks about tea... I say you and DS2 have lasagne, GF has veggie lasagna and I'm having jacket potato with tuna.... he has a flipping go that it is stupid and I should just eat what has been cooked.

Next weekend I will bulk bake slimming world food and he can flipping well eat that!

And now he is on his 2nd plate of lasagna .......... it is a good job I am not having any!!!

Absolutely no reason why you can't just cook SW meals for everyone. My DH eats exactly what I eat, apart from he has white bread as can't tolerate wholemeal. He also have large slices not small. As he doesn't need to lose much he also has extra sandwiches, usually cheese! but not a problem as men get 25 syns anyway if they're following SW!

If you were still under 15 syns then absolutely no problem. You can eat absolutely anything you like if it's within syns! You can "spend" them all on chocolate if that's what you like or extra cheese etc. Wish I had a DH who cooked for me!

This post is getting to be a bit of an essay. Will post again with my menu shortly.

    Back with plan for today:

B - scrambled eggs on toast. Cooked off some peppers, spring onions, mushrooms and spinach and then added the eggs. Was really tasty.
L - tuna salad, dressed with balsamic vinegar. Will also have my usual pickles with it.
D - LO roast chicken, fried up new potatoes (also LO from yesterday); fried up peppers, onions, mushrooms. Might also add some spinach for extra speed.

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned as need to rein back in from the weekend - as usual!

    Denise
