I have managed 11 NSD's this month, so missed my target of 16
Mostly managed to achieve the exercise target and did manage the 'no tumble drier' challenge I set myself (even though the weather has been rubbish)...
Well done to fellow NSTs and hoping for a better June!0 -

Evening everybody!
First of - SkintTeacher - sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of hugs. Thank you to Misstara for running May, and to AppleMuncher for running June. Fmess - get on that dating wagon haha!!! I have a new date this evening!!! See!!! Like riding a bike lol.
End of May and what a month! I have gone from being happy to having things turned on their head with my car going out of action. I've had to rely on other people and be patient - realising that everything happens in it own time. My budget has gone through the grinder, and I'll be re-assessing all my budget tonight...
My family visit was lovely... tiring - but really good fun. My car finally got sorted today, and I have collected it... What a great end to the month!!!
Today = NSD number 18 (I think! I lost track a bit)
Today I am grateful for:- Having a loving and supportive family
- For my Mum & Dad. I think they won't always be here, and I am truly grateful for any time I get to have with them
- My Sister, for going out of her way to bring them down here to visit
- My Brother - for always being at the end of the phone or online for a game at the end of a day

End of Month Goal Review :
1) Becoming Debt Free
I cleared my credit cards this month, but have finance on a car. I am seeing my car payments like rent, and am putting away extra, so at the end of 3 years I can pay it off if I choose to keep it.
2) Exercise/Be healthy
Most weeks I have managed 2-3 sessions per week, so am pretty pleased with this.
3) Mindfulness.
Remains very hit and miss... I had upped the time to practice to 15 minutes and yet again it's gone by the wayside. So - next month - back to 5 minutes!!!
4) Mortgage
Help to Buy ISA on-going. EF now only £250.00. I will keep adding £250/month to this as I'm used to it.
5) Overcoming anxiety
Social outings have been many (with family) and I'm sticking with the dating haha!

Managed 13 NSD's (I don't count groceries due to location of shops meaning I go on different days depending on other obligations)
This will have to change next month.
Debt free, and I have some savings. I'll keep out of them for as long as possible.
I spoke to my ex-boss today. He wanted to know what hours I had done this month, so I might get paid. Of course, he then followed it by asking me to contract for him. He doesn't seem to have got the point and became a bit aggressive when I said no.
Exercise was fine until the last week, but I went back this morning.
Great relief - DH passed his final exams so double unemployment isn't looming now.
Thanks for this months thread. It really helps.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Thank you misstara for May's challenge.
I managed 19 NSDs, 18 exercise sessions, and completed 100% of each of my mod and mar targets. I certainly would not have hit 100% without the challenge.
Today I am grateful for time with dh and dd, for easy train journeys, for lazy food, for 'getting stuff done' however small, for a plan for the morrow, for my toe continuing to mend, for friendly bus drivers, for good friends, for recyc, for tomorrow being a fresh start.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
End of month review.
NSDs - 16/20. Not too bad, would have liked a couple more.
Go outside - A lap of the park with the pup, then I walked into town & to the gym today. I have noticed that apart from taking Duncan out for his afternoon stroll (bf does the morning stroll while I attempt to rise from my pit). I definitely need to up the outdoor activities. Especially as the weather is good for it.
Daily gratitudes - A good sweaty gym session, and my last day of work before my long weekend off.
2017 aims:
Lose weight
Mays aim was for a 4lbs loss. Instead I scraped through with a paltry 1.6lbs loss. Ah well, at least it's in the right direction. And I have ticked under the 200lbs mark and now in the 100s club (just). My body fat % has gone down a whole 0.3%
Buy a house
We are 17 weeks in and still stuck on the paperwork. Were are awaiting literally a couple of enquiries, the sellers solicitors seem a little pants as they've lost a form she's sent to them twice now!
Hoping for good news next month.
