I was very tired on Wednesday, fell asleep around 7:30. then was woken up at 10:15 by a call from work. I wish it was for something important, but it was a something really stupid & petty.

Clocked up 2 NSD's Wed & Thurs, today I paid £2 for works charity Mufti day, and my turn for grocery shopping

    NSDs - 14/20.
Go outside - Lots of bright sunshine, so a few laps of the park with the pup. And I took a stroll round the block on my lunch break.
Daily gratitudes - Lots of praise from the boss today, and a nice chilled day at work.

Today I am grateful for the lovely sunshine, for frozen peas to put on my big toe when it stayed underneath (wrong place!) during a ninja tuck jump, for dh looking after me, for being able to sit around and use lots of ice on my toe, for dd enjoying school, for finishing my largest centre for marking, for the athletics from Manchester, for a lawn covered with daisies, for the greenery, for a week off with dd.

    Evening everyone :)

This is going to be a weekly round-up check in. What a week... Work has been crazy and stressful, my car is still not sorted (!) though have a courtesy car so not worrying too much. Mum stuff on-going and family arrive tomorrow - Wednesday. It's funny - I'm excited and dreading not having that space and time to recharge all at the same time. It will be fine and lovely to see them, and I will try not to get caught up in feeling I have to entertain everyone. Lastly, I called it off with the guy I was dating, as lo and behold, I discover he assumed I wasn't interested (even though I explained I had stuff going on) and so has been dating other people all the while (didn't find out until today). So yeah - that just about finished off my week haha!!!

On the plus: He was kinda needy - and I'm not like that at all. I'm not devastated so I guess that says a lot also. Whilst my car isn't sorted, the delay has meant I have a month's grace on repayments - good job as I wasn't paid any of my overtime this month lol. Everything works out in its own time and for the right reason... I'm actually now feeling pretty damn positive - with a sense of freedom.

    To recap on NSDs..

    Sat 20 actually wasn't an NSD (I thought it was) = 11.
    Sun 21 therefore = NSD 12
Mon & Tue and Today = NSDs, totalling 15!

This week I have been grateful for:
    • Finding strength in times of stress
    • My spirituality for keeping me sane and grounded
    • The realisation that everything will be ok
    • The return of the sunny weather
    • My Nature Walk as always
    • All the comforts of living : clothes, food, gas and electric and running water, and a roof over my head. I am abundant indeed.
    • Being part of this amazing forum/thread
Have an awesome BH weekend folks x :)

Hi had a few days off work. Not done a lot I wanted to get a few big walks in but last 2 nights sciatica has been awful. Sat watching YouTube exercises to help free it in the middle of the night.

Thursday spent day in garden with dd and gd. Lunch from freezer using up veg lasagne made other week. No spending, went walk later but so hot didn't get far.

Today popped to Sainsbobs look at clothes t shirt and knickers, bit shopping used vouchers so only cost £6 in total. Lazed in garden tried painting chair but paint was hot and runny so only did one coat.

Went walk nice breeze so it further than yesterday. Left it till quite late hopefully might ease my back tonight.

    Grateful for
    My garden so gorgeous

Hmm - perhaps would have been better if OH hadn't woken in the night to be sick and I hadn't had to get up twice for the loo... Both of us have since been queasy all day with stomach cramps :(:( Was the only time we'd eaten together all day (and both had very similar food)
