Hugs to any turtle who needs one.

apple I had a quick scan through April's thread and couldn't see any volunteers for June so maybe just go ahead.

I'm currently staying with my parents until Wednesday which means NSDs, lots of nice food, relaxing and lovely walks.

Today I'm grateful for my mum treating me to lunch out, doing a puzzle with my dad, a lovely walk in the sunshine and a roast dinner to look forward to.

    Hello all,

Haven't updated this for nearly a week

I am up to 10 NSD's so obviously not going to get anywhere near 16 now. Have been a bit rubbish all round actually, very non-MSE with my children this weekend, think I tiredness and stress got the better of me and we ended up at PC W0r1d (son) and T0ys R U$ (daughter) as they happen to be right next to each other where I live. Really wish I had been stronger as we are away for my daughters birthday soon and I need to put the spending money together and buy her presents...

Exercise started off well but has tailed off for the last few days. We went to Brighton today and did a lot of walking so at least I've managed some today... and no use of the tumble drier so not all bad :j Hoping for a few spells of ok weather tomorrow as the laundry bin is full again already and also will have the ironing to tackle.

Today I am grateful that it's half term next week and so I will be at home with the children, that today is my wedding anniversary and we have (narrowly) managed to avoid divorce so far and that I've managed to get most of the housework out of the way so hopefully a slightly less full on day tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good bank holiday Monday :)

Today I am grateful for being able to stay home, for finishing some admin, for time with dd, for getting some knitting done, for the birds twittering away wll day, for the massive heavy downpour and the subsequent smell of wet garden, for making a yummy mango/coconut dessert from stores, for fresh water, for plans for the week ahead.

    Morning all,

Managed to pass my standardisation for my first examining contract yesterday and bar posting the coursework back, I've finished my moderating contract. Also mowed the lawn (got sunburnt) and met my new neighbour, who is going to rent out next door. He literally ripped the whole house apart in one day, all the walls have been de-plastered and the front garden, front wall and conservatory are gone. Think he's pretty keen to turn it around quickly. Talked to him about replacing the fence and taking down a small hedge, which he says he'll do and we've talked about getting a joint quote for new driveways, as hopefully getting both done together her will save a bit of money.

The weather has broken here today which is disappointing because I want to be outside but great for the garden.

Crikey a week has flown by. Not really sure where the week has gone.

So I last posted on Sunday which did end up as NSD (9), Mon was a spend day as DD needed makeup!!, Tues, Weds & Thurs were NSDs (12), Fri was a spend day as needed clotted cream to go with some GF scones I made, Sat was a spend day as did food shopping for the next few weeks and got some DIY bits. Yesterday was a NSD (13).
Not sure if I will make it to 16 unless the next 3 days are NSD.

    I am grateful for:
1.The lovely weather allowing me to spend time in the garden and on the allotment.
    2. The rain for watering my plants
    3. Family and Friends

Checking in to say that I'm grateful for this week off work :D My exam marking starts properly today as well so I'll be getting on with that.
It won't be a nsd as we're desperate for a big and proper grocery shop so I'm going to make sure that gets done. Other than that I predict an indoors day as it's chucking it down outside...

    Hello,

(sneaks back in after a long expensive absence :o). Hope you're all well, sorry not even had much time to (skim) read.

I'm looking fwd to Apple's June challenge. Need to seriously scrimp in June and the following months and could do with the great support from here. May was just mayhem, two birthdays, a wedding, booked a holiday, paid for holiday club in the summer, chicken pox, lice and DD (3) lost another tooth in the skatepark. So, many distractions and enjoying life a bit too much (drink, food etc) the rest of the time.

NSD 15 today! Might just do it this month.

Have just been pootling about the last few days as I have half a tank of petrol in the car.
On sunny days it is the local parks - I have about six nice ones within about 3 miles of us, so I can do cheapy mornings/afternoons out on sunny days for £0. Ice cream cones in the fridge (Tesco toffee vanilla dairy free gluten free are the current faves - less than 200 cals £2 for 4 ).
In the Gym 7-8am before DH gets out of bed.

Waiting for the YHA sale - it is usually in the first few days of June. I got 6 bed dorms for £33 a night over the summer holidays last year at the seaside in Norfolk. It was great. So keep an eye out for a sale coming up.

I have shamelessly cribbed a fair amount from nsk - but she was just so awesomely good at debt-busting...
