Thought I'd better check in and post before the month is up. Have been visiting most days and reading how everyone else is faring but have had no news to report really so didn't!
Will make the target of 16 NSDs as cupboards are overflowing with food as I stocked up for half term to avoid shopping during school holidays. Anything else will have to wait until next month or the DC will have to spend their pocket money on what they want.
Grateful for a baking session today with DC, helpful neighbours helping with a DIY problem and the garden looking green after the heavy rainfall.

Managed NSD no.15 today. Long day in work so no chance to spend.

NSDs - 15/20.
Go outside - Usual stroll thru the park with the pup. Lots of kids in the park so Duncan got lots of interest. There is a couple of kids who always come running up the the fence of the play area shouting "Is that Duncan?" so they can give him a stroke.
Daily gratitudes - Yummy poached eggs for breakfast cooked by the bf

Ok. As of 10am I am unemployed. Handed in my legal letter telling him he was a criminal. Got it signed, then handed over my resignation letter and walked out.

June is a new month. I'm heading over there - need to clear my head, write my CV and get a grip.

FBO - That was really brave. Good for you! Life is too short to be miserable on a daily basis in work. Update that CV - you'll find something you're happier doing.

Today I am grateful for our library, for time with dd, for finishing my mod and mar, for getting stuff posted off, for a quick chat with MIL, for finishing the cardigan collar, for the tennis on the telly, for being able to do a careful workout, for dh earning some pennies, for a few days away starting tomorrow (albeit a 'working' holiday, but still, it's time away togethet).

Wow furry, good luck with the job search

Today was a SFD. I walked one dog, then went for breakfast at a friends and took the most energetic dog for a walk with hers for a couple of hours, then home to take the third one to hydrotherapy and then I've been marking since. I also popped dinner in the slow cooker this morning which I was very grateful for tonight.

Tomorrow is actual school work, need to go help some students in school, and then exam marking. Did someone say it was half term

NSD no.16 reached today. With one day left in the month my 20 NSD target is unreachable, especially as I'm off for my monthly PT session tomorrow. I think I could have possibly squeezed out another 4 days, but there is always next month.

NSDs - 16/20.
Go outside - Couple of laps of the park. My step count does need to increase a little. Maybe a 3rd lap??
Daily gratitudes - Found the missing money from yesterdays rent takings. A simple case of miscalculation, the money was there all along!

Today's thankfulness:
* a large fleabay sale (both int erms of physical size and money received)
* the children having fun having a waterfight (17, 17, 11 & 8)
* using up bits n pieces of food
* picking a huge bowl of strawberries from the garden and half a dozen sticks of rhubarb
* it being half term and the weather being ok

Last check in before the end of the month.
- achieved 18 NSDs beating my target of 16
- lots of things going on the garden, still not sure I know the difference between weeds and what I've planted :rotfl: but things are at least growing
- didn't meet my stretch target at all but I have now paid off all my original debt :j:j:j just the new flat debt to tackle now

Off to post my June goals.
