Wow Apple 35 sets of stairs!
I'm really not myself at the moment. Had a moment last night where everything seemed too much because I couldn't decide what to have for dinner.
Today I am grateful for:-
- the lovely post office lady who didn't charge me today
- working with my best friend
- the sunshine this evening so I could walk the dogs in nice weatherLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Very busy day after only 6 hours sleep (following 28 hours awake).
Spectacles mended and returned, taxi booked for Tuesday, went to doctor's - anti-depressant dosage increased and given a phone number to refer myself for CBT, DS3's self-assessment stamped ready to post (thought there was a box in the SM), food shopping at Icyland and Tosco. Broken the budget, taken taxis all day (was still out for four hours and was too wobbly to walk across the infirmary carpark so long walk was unrealistic) and very tired.
Today I am grateful for our doctor's appointment system, for taxis (just couldn't have done it without them - even short journeys would have added hours) and hot baths (best substitute for not enough sleep). I am now going to sleep for as long as I want. Good mornign all.
Couldn't sleep and am behind with updating on here so I am making use of the quiet time...
I don't think I will achieve 16 NSDs this month and its all down to bad planning.
Thursday I had run out of cat food, so got that without checking if I needed anything else
Yesterday I needed another couple of things, but being short on time, didn't have time to do my main shop, which means that today wont be an NSD either....
Positives are that although the weather has been bad, I have resisted the temptation of the tumble direr by hanging out the washing indoors. I am also up to date with checking the bank, will be doing the park run this morning and am gardening al day tomorrow (weather permitting) so will add to my NSDs.
Hope you all have a good Saturday.....0 -
Afternoon everyone!
A quick check-in today, but hope you are all doing well. I'm not liking this dull, grey, rainy weather we have been having - I want the sun back!!!
Wednesday = spend day
Thursday, Friday and today = NSDs = number 12
Car nearly sorted - I should collect next week, and then will be able to work out my new budget in time for June. I got a car tax rebate, and my cheque for my old car cleared so that will all help.
Weekend in. I am looking forward to next weekend as I'm off the BH and have some family visiting for a few days.
Have a great Saturday!
PS. Mothernerd - thank you! And yes... no backsliding for sure!!!

Lots of us struggling with sleep this month.
Fmess - do you think it's teaching time of year? I'm really worn out and randomly much more tearful than I normally am. Everything is a real effort and I can't be bothered with anything much. Not giving up

Spent this morning walking in the woods with the BF and the Pup. Racked up 13,000 steps on my fitbit.
After lunch tiredness hit me and I had an hour & half nap. The rest of the day we've had a nice chill on the sofa.
I need to pop into town tomorrow, my phone is playing up. It's randomly restarting, and sometimes gets stuck in a restarting loop. It was cycling thru a restart the whole time I was napping.
I took it to the Apple store Thursday and they did a clean restore, so I think it's hardware rather than software. So tomorrow I'm off to my service provider to see if they'll get the phone fixed.
I chose not to pay for insurance, so I'll wait and see what they say. An early upgrade will cost me £150.
NSDs - 11/20.
Go outside - A nice sunny 2 hour walk thru the woods.

Yesterday was a spend day and today too so still at 12. I had the day off yesterday so went to the gym, did some gardening and then just pottered about the flat. Today I've been on a late shift, went to my friends sons birthday party earlier.
Today I'm grateful for the party only being 2 hours long (love my friends wee boy but spending time with 10 over excited 7 year olds is a little too much for me :rotfl:), a long lie this morning, being lazy (was planning to go for a run until I looked out the window), a good shift at work and the wee gin I'm planning to have when I get home.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Everyone at my school is the same. We've put it down to a short half term, so lots to cram in to a shorter space of time, none of our students are going on study leave, so we're all still running lessons plus revision sessions every lunchtime and evening and the increasing stress of the worry about how they'll do in their exams, and are they all coping with the stresses of exams. My sleep pattern is way off, I toss and turn and then wake up at 5 for no reason and can't stop feeling exhausted. (Sorry for the moan non-teachers!)
Today I decided to simplify things and just had three goals - walk the dogs, cook a decent dinner and try to finish moderating the coursework for the exam board. I managed to do it allexcept for the pieces that schools forgot to send which I'll chase next week. Tomorrow will need to be my school work, cleaning and a family picnic
I'm delighted to say I've just 'treated' myself to a new phone. I found a monthly deal I was happy to pay for through c4rph0ne warehouse and called my phone provider who matched it, saving me £380 compared to their equivalent 'deal'. The phone arrived todayI had done sim only for a year after my contract was up but my handset was getting unreliable and I need it for examining and I don't have a landline.
Hope you've all had a decent day weather wise. I was pleasantly surprised to get two good dog walks in, in between the showers.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Fmess and ccl - I really feel for you guys, especially being core subjects. Our pupils are on study leave, and my exam was last week, so I'm freed from the stress of continuing to teach them. It must be so unfair if your exam(s) are the later ones. Hugs to you both xNST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Its been a busy week and I haven't managed to get on here.
Thurs was a spend day as DH 'needed' grass seed which I got (along with some sweets!!) and he hasn't even used it yet!!!
Fri was also a spend as had charity bingo event - it was the funniest I have been to in a long time. Half way through a game the caller reset the bingo machine rather than continuing so we had to start again with same cards and mark off numbers which we had already marked off. I have never laughed so much!!
Yesterday was a bit spendy as brought animal food for the next few months but managed to avoid all other shops.
Am hoping today will be a NSD but will need to find a shop soon as fridge is looking very bare and I am nearly out of soya milk.0
