Thanks to you all for your help and advice. They say you learn something new every day. I certainly have. After great deliberation I've chosen what I like. It's in keeping with my screen name and I think it looks friendly enough. I found the moving Avatars great fun but distracting. I'm glad I've learned about how to go about getting images and resizing them, it could be useful in the future. Let's go save some money.
