Plusnet price rises

It looks as though PlusNet are increasing the price of either broadband or line (who knows nowadays?) from June, together with other 'wonderful' changes,so as i' m such a good customer they are offering me fibre and line for £27.99 (£28.99 from June), but I'm such a good customer that they don't know we can't get fibre and that I'm in a pre paid line contract.
it's not long since the last price rise under the guise of offering the 'benefit' of combined prices.

"This allows us to continue providing brilliant service" :rotfl: really is a bit rich considering how they have gone from bad to worse with customer service!0 -
Problem is, they're still about the best value for me, apart from TalkTalk but I'm not that desperate0

Can we leave because of this whilst still under contract ?0
-
Yes you phone them up and say you wish to leave. Give 14 days' notice. needs to e done within 30 days of the letter/email telling you of the price hike.0
-
Not if you prepaid line rental as the rise won't affect you until renewal time, when you can leave anyway.
I'm so hoping Sky have a good deal when my minimum term is up.
That ridiculously cheery man in the ads , which are everywhere, really annoys me. He's rather like the fat opera singer and the shouty double glazing ad man, who would put me off their product, even if I was interested.0 -

I wonder how many old boy networks and backhanders earned them all those awards. They didn't get my vote and are even less likely with two price increases in such a short time.0 -
I've just done a survey about providers' customer service, prices etc. , including PlusNet.0
