Plusnet price rises

Options
It looks as though PlusNet are increasing the price of either broadband or line (who knows nowadays?) from June, together with other 'wonderful' changes,so as i' m such a good customer they are offering me fibre and line for £27.99 (£28.99 from June), but I'm such a good customer that they don't know we can't get fibre and that I'm in a pre paid line contract.

it's not long since the last price rise under the guise of offering the 'benefit' of combined prices.

"This allows us to continue providing brilliant service" :rotfl: really is a bit rich considering how they have gone from bad to worse with customer service!

Problem is, they're still about the best value for me, apart from TalkTalk but I'm not that desperate

Yes you phone them up and say you wish to leave. Give 14 days' notice. needs to e done within 30 days of the letter/email telling you of the price hike.

Not if you prepaid line rental as the rise won't affect you until renewal time, when you can leave anyway.

I'm so hoping Sky have a good deal when my minimum term is up.

That ridiculously cheery man in the ads , which are everywhere, really annoys me. He's rather like the fat opera singer and the shouty double glazing ad man, who would put me off their product, even if I was interested.

I wonder how many old boy networks and backhanders earned them all those awards. They didn't get my vote and are even less likely with two price increases in such a short time.

I've just done a survey about providers' customer service, prices etc. , including PlusNet.

But, it takes nearly 14 days to get through on the phone!
