    Thanks!

    Lesson learned

Also glad that sugar has this effect on me now. Might make me think twice in future.

Downed two glasses of water so getting back on track.

3 days until pay day I will do a money check tomorrow as it's needed.

It is so hard to do and it's understanding that eating sugar doesn't mean you have failed its just a stumble. Especially if your at someone's house and they put sugar in without thinking.

Its always a wait for pay day. 9 times out of 10 mines pure excitement as illve paying off more debt. I don't think I'm ever at the stage where I have no money till pay day it just makes me so excited to watch that figure go down. Maybe Iv become addicted to debt repayment.

    Just done some money checking
    I have £9.82 in cash
    £37 in the account

No bills to pay. Just one Easter gift to purchase and a last minute dinner arrangement with a friend. All in all I should come in nicely on budget.

My money has shifted cards now which is nice as I know there's no more interest in that.

Deciding wether to keep the barclaycard account open or not tho? It offers some great deals and seems to be a leader in the market? I can't decide what the best option for me. I'm expecting cry's of CLOSE IT DOWN from everyone which is what I'm thinking is the right thing to do but I like to check if I'm wrong.

Today has been fab! I have drank a lot of water. Eaten healthy, done some mild excercise and cleared my head.

    Feeling fab again

I have been missing for a month!!!!!

Work has been crazy and it has left me very little time to breath literally. No complaints but my money has taken a big hit.

I sat down today to do the finances... a month after I have been paid. Luckily everything it direct debit so no unpaid bills. It has been THAT busy.

Unfortunately my spending has been crazy. Grabbing food when I can with no structure. ALOT more petrol as Iv been coming and going more frequently.

Some of the money has been taken by expenses which in some ways is good as I'll get those back. Paperwork is complete for that.

Anyway I have overspent! Guilty! And annoying as I needed to be so strict.

I've checked today and I have paid off £591.35 to debt. Half the amount I needed.
£200 is to come back in expenses increasing this months pay to debt to £791.35 which is good but £200 less than I needed.
£100 overspent on food!!!! Grabbing food whenever I can has been expensive about £5 a pop. I'm unsure how you guys that buy lunch everyday afford it. I'm glad I normally prep beforehand as this has hit me hard.

Payday again in 2 days and that will be more organised and prepared. Only two more pay days till my original debt free goal and with £2500 roughly to go it won't be happening.

    More updates and focus ahead

Hope everyone is ok while Iv been awol

    Welcome back :)

It sounds truly hectic, I hope you are due a bit of time for yourself so you can recuperate?

I don't know if you can build yourself a sort of emergency fund for food to cushion the blow next time it all gets too busy? What you might put in it depends on your tastes and what facilities you have at work. I have soups in the freezer at home, a couple of tins in my locker at work and always keep the ingredients to make overnight oats or porridge as these are cheap, filling and very quick to prepare. That's cut my food spending but of course it depends on me having enough time to shop in the first place.

Don't let the setback put you off - great that you have come back and reckoned up instead of throwing in the towel. Great too that expenses will cover some of the extras. I've just been paid for things I didn't claim for back at the beginning of the year, and it's a nice feeling!

Thank cherry, I'm usually so good with my lunch. It's all been that hectic that unless the effort level is 0 or heat it for 60 seconds and something that didn't require me to walk to another room or get out the car then I wasn't going to be eating it.

It happens it just shows how low my food budget normally is.

New month let's get this debt squashed

Just stopping by, I need to get my budget done this week before the events of last month replay. I'm excited about seeing what I can pay off but maybe I'm putting it off as I'm behind now.

    Work is still crazy.

I'm already thinking about what big purchases I want to buy once I'm debt free and how I can start little saving funds for it. Where I'm so tired I almost reasoned with myself that it was perfectly acceptable to get a new car with an interest free loan as mine is just waiting for it to give up for good. I think I must have been so tired for years that it was easy to reason with myself that the debt was ok.
Luckily a good sleep and a slap in the face later I reminded myself that it was a silly idea.

Hopefully be updating soon about financials

Still no time to do my budget. Disappointing.

    Work really is that hectic.

It's making me feel really isolated as I have no time to get anything done and it's weakening me and getting me down.
However I love what I do and I know there's two weeks to go and it's all over so I'm on the home stretch.

Food has also gone out the window still. Hoping to get back on track as that is also getting me down.

Maybe the key to everything is going part time and just love life and the time you have rather than worry about the money.

    Maybe one day ay

    BUDGET DONE!!!!!!!!

finally a day off to myself to get some bits done.

Overspent a little at the beginning of the month but some of that can be worked back by not spending the rest of the month. Iv spent a lot of money on work so far but all the receipts are ready to claim back.

£860 paid off to debt this month so far. This leaves £2170!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow I really am on the home stretch!

I know I won't be able to hit the mat target as I'm not going to get paid £2000 so June it is but I'm excited to see how much I can get paid back this month so I just have that last slog.

My birthday is this month which means a little bump in the road moneywise but Iv not planned anything to exciting.

I'm also currently experiencing some work place bullying. I use bullying very lightly it's more just being isolated and pushed out which is something I never thought I would experience at my age. It's not been great.

Working lots of hours with people who have made it clear they want nothing to do with you is hard and taking it's toll on me. It's leaving me little time to spend with the people who do love me and make me feel safe and loved which is sad.
I do love my job and I do have people at work that I really get on with. Unfortunately it's a small group that's turned on me and right now they are who I'm having to spend all my time with, two weeks and I'll be done with that.

Moving on to more important things

£2000 is the target. Need to find some ways to get that down as much as I can.
Debt free is getting even closer and that is very exciting for me :) to think I was staring down a barrel of £16,000 last year god how I never want to be there again.

I am sorry you are experiencing bullying LadyP01 - it is a horrid situation to be in. I am self employed so have little advice for you other than I hope you have flagged it with your superiors as you have rights to work in a safe environment.

I hope you are looking after yourself so that you can handle the situation in a healthy way. As I tell my kids - the storm is always within the bullies and you need to step away to safe distance.

Well done on chipping so muhc off your debt in very difficult circumstances. That is an ace result and you should be proud.

I read your diary but rarely get chnace to post but I am rooting for you from the sidelines!! You are on the home straight!!

    ((hugs))
