You are making great progress on the debt - fab job there! Especially considering how much work pressure you are under. Incidentally, reading a series of your posts I think you need a pat on the back for not spending more, and call extra food expenses etc. a work expense that will in some way pay you back with extra pay in the longer term.
I'm really sorry to hear about the bullies at work and as WM says, I hope your employer is willing and able to take this seriously and deal with it.Do you think they are aware of what they are doing? Thank goodness it's time limited and not so long to go now. Meanwhile hugs from me and hopes that the situation soon improves. xI think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thank you both. I think it's more that we were all friends and a few ex employees disliked me who are friends with them and I didn't for once think that would effect our friendships, why would it? And now it's come to light or more Iv pieced it together that they have distanced themselves from me which has hit me hard as I didn't see it coming.
Life goes on though doesn't it just makes me sad is all.
I am very close and I'm so excited about that0 -
So sad when it's former friends...
A couple more days and you'll be out of it.

Afternoon everyone,
Yh it's was a massive shock on the other side now though and things will be much better.
Paid another £130 off and I'm sure I can get some more paid off soon.
Pay day in 4 days. Excited to be paying another big chunk off. Next month will be a tight month as I have so much to pay for in July.0 -
Hey there! It's just LadyP01 here who has been neglecting her thread for what feels like two months.
My saving busting has shown a decline along with the lack of messages.
The suns been out and Iv been living life spending away and that is a slippery slope. Things aren't to bad though I'm making big payments back but I'm just not as thrifty as I would have liked to have been.
Today I did my finances and can confirm I have paid another £1047.36 off to my debt.
I'm really happy as it's getting low very very low but I can see that next month is going to be a struggle.
Mot, tax and partners birthday. Big spending month and I still have £1124 left to pay off so that debt freedom might be ANOTHER month away and that makes me pretty sad.
Although another month away I can still be thrifty and if we look at the grand scheme of things I have gone from £16,000 in debt down to £1124. So really is this something I need to be sad about? Or I need to embrace and be happy at how my journey is going.
I have to dash now but I'll post the rest of my thought later on when I get time and it's all wizzing around my brain.
Feeling £1000 lighter off these heavily burdened debt shoulders this morning though0 -

Actually that's a huge achievement - well done!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thanks both. I am really happy that I can see the end. In a year I was able to save up half my wages and throw it at debt. It just boggles my mind how I ever got into debt in the first place. I'm a smart girl I know debt is bad I'm so good wth money but for some reason I just got into my head that it was ok as everyone had debt this is what we do and I changed my bad debt thinking. Now I really think about it I remember people telling me how it's ok to have debt how could I not have a credit card what would I do in an emergency???? This advice was so bad, they should have been saying save an emergency fund not get a credit card.
When I have kids I want to remember this for when they get there first job and I will show them how to use money wisely.
I could have done so much with that money and my life would have been different but at least now after this summer my life will be different0 -
Mid month.
Slowly running out of money this month. My food budget seems to be disapearing like quick sand.
My tyre went aswell so a trip to the garage is needed. Luckily I have over £400 stashed away in my car account which is helpful with mot service and tax all next month.
Tasks this week is to sit down and re check all my money to make sure I don't fall short and to set my budget for next month as pay day is in 9 days0 -
Well done - debt free is so close!Just trying to make up for past mistakes and work towards the future I want :hello:0
