This morning, getting ready to go to work gets out to wee betty, my car which is of course covered in frost (-8 this morning brrrr). Opened her up and and gets in starts up engine, puts on lights, heater etc. Grabs the ice scrapper from side door pocket and gets back out closing the door over.
Scrapes ice off the side windows...
Scrapping the ice off the front windscreen and I hear a loud tttttSSSSSHhhh from the back...
Rear window has exploded into rear of car :eek::eek::eek:
Thankfully, it's covered for replacement by insurance (£50 excess paid).

Good day today, hiking in the snowclad hills of the Scottish Borders.
Going to relax now with a few bottles of muscle relaxant (home brew) and get to bed early.
