Uurgh... I just opened the front door to my neighbour and it is blowing a hoolie. So glad I don't need to go out there tonight but I'll be out and about all day tomorrow so hoping it clears up slightly...Sealed Pot Challenge 075

That wee face when I was telling her she was going to be carrying her own gear was just priceless :rotfl:
I'm getting her a set of pannier type bags on a harness, so that she can carry some of her things in an easier to hand fashion. I'll still be carrying most of her stuff in my Bergen.
Really looking forward to it, as it will be my first BIG hike in a long, long time...
Will need to complete the Loch Lomond stretch in the one day, due to the ban on wildcamping on that side of the Loch.

On the countdown to payday...
Been tight as a ducks bum this month and I am just gonna make it thru to next payday by the skin of my teeth...
The problems with the car and increases in utilities/bills drained available funds. Have shuffled bits n bobs aboot to make things a bit easier on the finances going forward.
The impending increases in rent and council tax and other bills will be budgeted for and covered.

Morning Folks
For some strange / unknown reason I cannot access or post on the forums from home...
When I tried to get on last night I got the message that the administrator had banned my IP :eek::eek::eek:
I sent a message to the administrator asking how, why an whit fur etc. Waiting to hear back... the only thing I can think of is that I was sharing recipes on the old style money saving board... and copied and pasted from saved word documents on my laptop :doh:
I think that may have triggered an automatic ban... or something like that... anyone experienced this or know of someone who has???
Anyhoo, thankfully I can access and post from work. Just need to wait and see if the administrator can move me off the naughty step
I posted on the site feedback forum so hopefully the lovely Andrea or another member of the team can help sort out my boo boo...
Budgets have been sorted for the month ahead, the three pots have been replenished and whilst it is still tight as a ducks bum I will manage... just
Planning another hike for this weekend and keeping a careful eye on the weather forecasts (mountain weather forecasts are quite detailed )
BTW has anyone heard from Greying or Dusty lately? Hoping all is well with them and they're just having a wee break from the forums... I know they have some RL issues that they are dealing with...
