Try zog for gas only. They are the cheapest for me. I never found powershop gas particularly competitve. Id have thought they were quite within their rights to force you to switch gas providers as they make it quite clear in the terms and conditions that they do not supply gas only
Ps I'm with symbio for electricity and am quite happy with them. Paying about the same if not less then I was in my latter days with powershop without the need to regularly purchase powerpacks. Customer service is at times quite poor but I've not needed them recently. Also with symbio you pay for what you use ie no credit or debit builds up.

I have had a quick look through their t&c's and can't see anything that says they do not supply gas only. In fact they constantly say 'gas or electricity (or both)' when they should surely say 'electricity or electricity & gas' if they do not supply gas only. The only reference to no gas only supply is in the questions section where they say '
Does Powershop supply gas?Yes, if you’re already a customer of Powershop you can now buy your gas our way too! If you’re new to Powershop, you can join us as a dual fuel customer or just buy your electricity from us.'
Doesn't say anywhere what would happen if you switch away your electricity supply though.
I have done various comparisons and Zog are the cheapest for me too though unit price is 2.991p v 2.70 that I am currently paying so obviously keen to stay put until November if at all possible.0 -
Reached the end of my first year with powershop and they are no longer as competitively priced. So I’m now moving to orbit, so let’s see how good they are.
A question for anyone who has left powershop recently, how long does it take for them to refund my future purchases?
Thanks0 -

Thanks
PS refund your credit very quickly when you leave. I left on 23rd April 2019 and my account credit was refunded by 16th May 2019.0 -
Just got access to the "Summer Saver Special Pack".
Nothing special about the discount - 14% for the equivalent of 3 days power.0 -
2 Summer Saver Packs today of 3 days power 1. cost £4.95 worth £6.88 @ 28% discount
2. cost £4.76 worth £6.23 @ 23.6% discount.
I am dual fuel E7 so that maybe why mine are better than Equites.
If it's any consolation Baseline has been reduced by around 7% and will reduce everybody's charges from 1/10/2019 if not before.0 -

Not a lot of those packs are worth shouting about little extra pack that's about it. A once great electricity company has gone the way of other one time greats. Ebico and first utility spring to mind0

The Feb discounts say it all - last year Feb packs were 41.5%.
