A recent study found that working mothers put in 28 hours per week looking after the family on top of their normal working hours, so you partner is likely to be working nearly 50 hours each week. How many hours do you work?

i said she made no FINANCIAL contribution. Get you facts right :)

But it's not about FINANCIAL contribution when bringing up a child or operating as a family unit.

Technically it is a financial contribution because you aren't having to pay for childcare. Your attitudes towards this woman who has given you the best gift of all is disgraceful.
I suggest you tone down your attitude and other people on this forum, I suggest you cease to fuel this individuals posting.

    Wow!
How do you think your partner would feel if she saw your comments? I imagine she would be devastated.
You say she makes no financial contribution. I high doubt that. I imagine she spends it on your daughter and food shopping. I bet there are numerous times she pops to the shop while you're working and buys milk or something for tea.
I think you partner deserves better than to be with someone who thinks so little of her.

If this isn't a wind up then the OP has got to be a contender for the Chauvinist Pig of the Year Award

I suspect it is a wind up. Wasn't sure at first but the later comments certainly smack of someone trying to stir up a bit of drama :)

    I agree it's a wind up.

He can't even get the thread title right - he isn't buying a house with his partner, he's doing it alone. Which, incidentally, is how I imagine he will spend the rest of his life if the thread is genuine :j
