Made it on time. The consultant was as lovely as ever but I’m the problem. That said I have agreed to start two new meds which makes me feel like even more of a failure but sadly, where my health is concerned, that’s exactly how it is.Two pieces of good news yesterday. As I was heading to work, I saw our window cleaner who had been on the missing list for a few months. He had time to do my windows so these along with the kitchen skylights are sparkling, just in time for last night’s heavy downpour. The second piece of good news was that I got word that I was successful with a wee grant application for my charity. Just £1800 but for Items that will help make necessary changes. However the third bit of good news did not materialise so it looks like it’ll be July before the premium bond win. Still, I’ve decided that it’ll be worth waiting for.The truly bad news for me is that holby is being cancelled. It for falling audience numbers but to meet some ill thought out bbc policy. If they are that keen on decentralising, why not transfer the management and corporate functions to the regions instead of scrapping something that works!Today I need a list as I am being too reactive and things are being missed. I also need to crack on.

Sorry you have had to have more meds, though at least there is something on offer. I hope you are feeling okay in yourself.
Nice to hear the good news.Even more exciting if (when!) the third lot comes up in July!
I wonder if one of the advertising channels might pick up on Holby? A bit like when the Bakeoff left the BBC.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yes sorry to hear about the meds but hope they do you good.Congratulations on being successful for the grant! That's great news!👍
Sorry about Holby - I know it was one of your fave programmes. Seems daft to cancel it when it is so popular. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Looks like I lost a few days again. Not much happening bar work and am fed up with that. On Thursday I took some sb vouchers to m&s to try and use as I wasn’t sure if they had already been cashed in. Big win was combining some of these less the spent ones, with whoopsied offers and having to contribute 30p in cash to my bill.Today I cashed in last month’s sb bonus so the climb to more vouchers continues though ideally I’ll hold fire until I can get a swag up.Today I need to go on site for two to three hours for shift cover starting at 8. I may also be needed on the other site tomorrow evening. Right, need to start a list in the hope of not losing a day by wandering aimlessly through it.

That was a very satisfying spend!
I did take a moment to wonder when you started doing bar work, then realised I'd misread.
I'm covering tonight as well. Staffing has improved here but remains crisis management and is likely to be so for much of the summer. I hope things pick up at your place.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Had the laziest of lazy days. I did go in search of the paint needed for our gates and it appears to have been discontinued. While I’m not completely happy with the gardener, his attendance is moving our house closer to having kerb appeal. If we get the peeling gates sorted, another step will be taken.Bought dinner from a drive thru en route to the client as I needed dh to come do some techy stuff but cost is covered by my extra hours.
so far today, nothing has been done. I’m at the other site for a few hours this evening again providing cover. I need to get laundry underway. I had my weekly conversation with mr wii this morning. While I haven’t shifted a full pound, I have managed to creep into overweight - am I the only one who even hates how the word obese sounds?
it is now 10 days until the offspring are due home provided restrictions don’t change. It’ll be our first time together since the disastrous Christmas of 2019 when their guests behaved like absolute brats. They have already stated their desire for Christmas dinner while they are here. I need them to clear out junk from our roof space as there appears to be a bees’ nest there. Fingers crossed they stay docile until the work can be done. Today’s task is to find a large box, within Royal Mail limits to return the second dog bed I ordered accidentally. There are reasons why I have neither an eBay nor an Amazon account! So need to start list making.
