Today needs to be so productive for two reasons. One, I have OH available to me and two, I have a work meeting that I need to leave home for at half six tomorrow morning so need to have everything well researched and prepped for this. Nothing for it but to knuckle down. First task is to list make. Second, I will brave one of the two rooms of doom (children's rooms) and start somewhere there. Will also get windows cleaned and curtains hung. Wish me well!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Curtains and windows still not sorted but work wise, all my ducks are in a row. Tomorrow's meeting could generate further income so fingers crossed for that. I then have a dublin lunch with another client and my executive coaching starts tomorrow on my way up the road home. It'll be a late one but should be productive. Also, got word today that I'm getting another two hours from the small client whose arranged meeting I had to honour while risking a bigger job. Sometimes karma truly does kick in.
We made good headway with DS's room which will be used by the guests. OH did manage to end up under five pillows that fell on top of him. Quite amusing to watch.
Today was NSD which is always good but the rest of the week will be expensive. Still nothing back from hmrc but it is only day 2 of the 5 in which they have to respond. Today I am grateful for

Yesterday went well enough. My coaching friend made dinner. More veg than I would normally eat in a week with tofu and noodles. She's blissfully happy in her life which is so lovely to see. Today I went to ikea in the search for curtains to replace the duvet sent by next. Got a pair for £5 more but they are a lot heavier and are ready lined. Not sure if they work. I then swung by my sister's and her next door neighbour pranged my parked car. Apparently she does this quite regularly. No injury, no major damage but hassle I could do without. Pretty much did nothing all day and now have a headache. Not sure why in particular but I'm feeling anxious. Snapped at OH and we had a mini row. Not good. Still, tomorrow's another day. Just hope it's a better one.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Need to get lots done inc an estimate for car repair then factoring in repairs around having to ferry guests around. Have already gotten things of to a bad start by eating a large mint aero while curled up in bed. Some days it's hard to even face your home never mind the rest of the world. Everything just seems scary at the minute and, when that happens, I can't trust my decision making. Anyhow, first and really rather pathetic target of the day is to get washed, dressed and downstairs by half past ten to listen to pop master now that ken Bruce has returned. Wish me luck.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
