Today. I will put away the handbags that have been sorted and weeded. I will get at least one curtain finished and hopefully the other tacked and I will clean the window where it is to be hung. I will go see my mum. It's probably easier to go than to live in dread of having to go.
Yesterday I was in pacman mode eating anything that wasn't nailed down including potatoes that should have been enough for two meals.
Work wise, I want to get a report fully drafted, issue a chase up email, a kinda grumble email and a related text to someone who tried to assist. I also need to get final insurance related stuff issued. I will be in town tomorrow so I need a list to make sure I get everything done while there. I also have an email to pick up the curtains ordered weeks ago so I will try to get these on a round robin journey.
The new curtains are for the office / dining room so I'm being given a push to get this sorted too. My visitors arrive two weeks today so there's still lots to be done inc DS's bedroom where they will be staying. By then I want to have a £10 sb voucher and a £20 prolific payout. I also need to get registered on a specific tender website though I like input from OH when doing that as he's my IT support!
Ok, it's not gonna happen while I'm on here. Got a second pa survey, issued a few emails and set up a meeting for tomorrow. I also watched a complete six episode series while doing little else all day. I'm a disgrace but tomorrow is another day!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Still feeling discombobulated but don't know why. It's one of those days that will require music if I'm to get moving at all. Have to be some 25 miles away for three. Will def call into my mum's before going as I will be presentable and will therefore reduce the opportunities for criticism. I really hope that my children never feel the same about seeing me.
Am about to square up the kitchen and arrange the sunflowers bought yesterday by my OH who thought I needed cheering up. How lovely was that. I will also rescue that laundry that has been rain lashed for past two days and put through the machine again. Other things to be done are as stated yesterday. I really wish I had more willpower in so many ways.
After the work meeting, I'm driving an extra 15 miles to catch up with someone. This person owes me £200 but this relates to a potentially highly emotional matter so I can't bring it up. I'm just hoping that she remembers as I could do with the cash. On other news, 1 ebay item sold at 2.99 last night with the 2 remaining items closing this evening. Fingers crossed for these and for a good day for all.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Of course your children will not feel like that.
How could they?

You always seem there for your kids so I don't think they would ever feel like that about you.

sunflowers and daffodils are probably my favourite flowers. so, yesterday didnt go to plan. was hijacked by two lengthy calls that made me late for my meeting. one was from an existing client needing feedback, another was from a potential client. made a bit of a mess of things as I thought i would be available when i'd already committed elsewhere. caused a bit of a dilemma as the commitment will bring in £200 with the other being £2300. i'd given my word on the first one so I explained that I couldn't do one of the 5 needed days to the potential client and they happily said to submit the quote anyway. while i need the larger fee, I've always worked on the basis that, except where unavoidable, i stick with what is in my diary. hopefully, that wont count against me. yesterday i managed to get sopping wet laundry from the line, rewashed and draped all over my house to dry. I spotted a monsoon branch with the tail end of the sale after my work meeting. OH bought me a gift card for my last birthday so i ventured in. got 2 dresses for less than £35 so really good result for me. then did the catch up and an envelope containing the cash was waiting for me which was a relief. celebrated by picking up a takeaway on way home. OH took some for his lunch today as did I.
today i did a few errands in a car efficient manner and called to my mother's. she barely shifted her attention from the tv. it was a short visit. got home to a letter from HMRC kindly advising of a tax rebate from last year. that'll help keep the wolf from the door while waiting for payments to appear.
on more worrying news, my friend was admitted to hospital after work yesterday. the bad news is that she has sepcis, the good news is that they now know what, apart from cancer, is wrong. am worried sick but hopefully things can improve now. have been really lazy all week. OH is off fri and mon to prep for guests' arrival. tomorrow i will get a wiggle on. Ebayer paid, got a pa survey and swagbucks is slowly mounting.
today I am grateful for
a tasty lunch
veda bread - needs to be tasted
