Not good when folk don’t pay their way. Like you say - they should pay - especially when you are a charity.

thanks everyone. I did close to nothing on Saturday bar eating whoopsied food and yesterday went in for 5 hours. I’m starting to believe that we can make it through this and come out stronger and better. I just hope that I’m not tempting fate by saying this. This morning I had a conversation with mr wii and my weight is steady which I am pleasantly surprised by. I’m afraid to check my sugars.
last night I rounded up various receipts etc and did my expenses up to yesterday. I have just remembered something I forgot to claim. Still, it’s less than a tenner so I’ll carry it forward to this month. Additional money is needed to be set aside for my tax bill. However, the provision I made last year remains intact in premium bonds. I keep trying to tie dh down to a financial strategy but it ain’t easy. We could clear a fair bit off our mortgage but I don’t know what my income will be in the coming year. I also need to consider retirement and my very poor pension provision. I have been thinking buy to let but have been advised that the current crisis should result in lower prices so hold off. There’s also work needed here plus part of me would love to move and there’s another damp patch appearing on our kitchen wall and the builder cannot come for a look see.
today I have lots to do and am picking up the chef en route. I am determined to eat at least two pieces of fruit today as my skin is a mess. A combination of poor nutrition and a stress related skin condition is not good. Also, as my coach friend advises, it’s easier to crowd bad food out than to give it up.
today I am grateful for

Crowding out 'bad' food with 'good' is a nice idea! I'll have a watermelon please.
Lovely to hear that hope is visiting: she's been shy recently but she'll be back.

so one piece of fruit was consumed but had a bowl of absolutely packed with fresh vegetables soup so probably ended up with three portions. Today stared with peanut butter and banana on whole meal toast. A further donation was made of sausages and burgers to the furry one who didn’t try her break for freedom when the front door was opened for me but followed her nose and the bag of gifted goodies back into the house.Yesterday a service user was particularly demanding advising that he had the right to determine what additional guests were allowed in. Really? They are getting too comfortable/ complacent and will have a nasty wake up call when business as usual returns and they have to deliver on what they sign up for. My new resource started yesterday and is the breath of fresh air that I knew she would be. She has already taken one area in hand with another scheduled for today.
yesterday I took an uplift in some staff salaries to the management committee for decision and it was approved. We have already generated four times the savings by restructuring so this will be a small gesture that will help give something to the staff. The irony is that my core team who are with me through this will not benefit in the short term but at least they will see potential. We are hoping our charity partner may be able to offer the stalwarts a bonus.Yesterday we got 2 donations by cheque. One was for £65 and another £25. This is locum cover for a shift which is great.I heard last night that the grandfather of DD’s childhood friend has got C19. He is an elderly man living with dementia. The grandmother is also suspect and she has diabetes. The family were offered hospitalisation but declined as they preferred to be with him as opposed to his possible increased distress in strange surroundings. Plus one of them is a nurse. Sad times but probably lots more of these to come.
right, need to crack on.Today I am grateful for
additional resource, who being a trained beautician, also squeezed in an eyebrow dye for me.
donations, we can’t currently meet our conditions of funding so don’t know how that’ll pan out
