Yesterday I did not go to the client and fingers crossed today will be the same. Yesterday was my birthday and while taking her daily constitutional, ds left a bunch of spring flowers inside my gate then phoned to tell me they were there. I also had cards from the offspring and my Mother’s Day present arrived from dd along with a birthday present from ds. I did not fire up my laptop once yesterday though I responded to a few emails from my phone.
it was a weird day and transported me back to childhood birthdays when things like the troubles / the Ulster workers’ strike etc meant that one year my birthday tea was beans cooked on an open fire and toast made using a toasting fork.
today I intend to get to the garden as there is no excuse for the mess it is in. Also, I want to see if I can donate some stuff to the service users who are interested in sprucing up their surroundings. I think there are definitely a few plants that have put down babies that could be thinned out.

Happy belated birthday wishes inod! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂 It is indeed a strange time to celebrate birthdays at the moment. I pleased to read that you've heard from your family. Family and friends are so important at this strange time. Great too that you had a restful laptop free birthday. You have earned that respite in spades.Enjoy your time in the garden today - along with lean, fit exercised dogs, I think this spring/ summer will be known for the most beautiful well-kept gardens the U.K. has known for years!😀

Belated birthday wishes.
I've had lots of contact to ask about furlough, cheers for that Martin who published his video before the full guidance. Never mind what happens to the residents etc, we are not eligible as we are paid from public funds.
Hope you are eligible for the self employed bits and can self shield.

Happy Birthday INOD XX Mine was this last week too, it was strange. I got lots of happy birthdays from my lovely friends but couldn't collect my presents from my sister cos really it wasn't an essential trip.
Still I had chocolate cake.
Take care XXNevertheless she persisted.9
