Only managed one work shop as other things arose. Some good, some not so good. However, I’m starting to see a team with whom I can work emerge. I’m still under the weather and attracting Coronavirus comments. I have offered to self isolate but no one is taking me up on that offer. Was disgusted at last night’s lack of holby so took myself off for an early night. Ended up taking a work related call but still settled down earlier than usual. I fell off the porridge bandwagon this morning. I just can’t face it when I can’t actually taste it because of this cold. Right, things to do and people to see.

I hope you feel better soon. A really bad cold is horrible.
As to porridge vs sausage, mash and beans... I hope you had brown sauce to go with it.

Today I feel like I can take on the world. I managed to waken and get going without coughing for the first in over a week. I still have a slight tickle in my throat and still feel tired but I will happily take that.I’m still behind with lots of stuff but I got one invoice issued this week. A work matter is also progressing. Yesterday I nipped to the supermarket and did a top up shop that came to £14. This included butter that was on offer, a whoopsied apple tart for 10p, some whoopsied bread and a whoopsied prepared open steak sarnie to be baked for DH’s lunch today. He is working from home as the washing machine man is coming back today to hopefully repair the machine.DS called last night. He got back from his travels on Monday and has just under a month before he heads off again to a friend’s overseas wedding. He continues to believe he is invincible.Right, I need to go sort out the kitchen in a quarter of the time it would take dh.Today I am grateful for

Sausage, beans and mash. Not sure it gets any better than that.

Yesterday got off to a good start. First day in ages when I didn’t cough as I awoke. I then got advance purchase tickets to genesis and then went to the client. It went downhill from there but I escaped at 8 last night. So far today one staff member has called in. This is in addition to the one who phoned yesterday afternoon to say he wouldn’t be in this weekend. We had a visit from the police about matters unrelated to us but possibly covered by cctv and various other things including a nearly melt down by a staff member. We are interviewing for some staff next Monday and Tuesday but wonder for how long matters are sustainable. I have to go in for 7.30 tomorrow and work through to 2.30. Won’t that be fun! I am tired.
on the upside, the washing machine has been repaired and we now have contact details for a reliable repair man. DH enjoyed his steak sandwich and said it’d even be worth the full price.
right, need to get stuff done. The first thing will be an invoice.Today I am grateful for
finally receiving money owed to me since last April. I found the one person in a large organisation willing to take ownership and sort something out.

I'm glad the money finally arrived.
Also glad that your cold seems a bit better. I have a horrible cold too at the moment. I think we work too hard.
