I think Boris would be good.
He has a positive vision for a global UK post Brexit, and I think he'd wipe the floor with Corbyn in debates, not shying away like May.
He's pro-immigration too, and won't sacrifice the economy for arbitrary targets.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -
The Tories seem to be in a 'self destruct mode' and increasingly their future looks pretty dodgy to me. As long as Corbyn keeps Diane Abbott under lock and key, perhaps all he has to do is play a waiting game until another Election is called. I've lost confidence with the whole lot of them to be frank.... In my own area - Zac is back - for how long I wonder.0

Historic polls are just that folks.
Only those votes you do with a little cross in the relevant box in a polling station that change the world or don't.
Can't believe how much time is spent citing polls or knocking them.
It is like talking about the sell by date on the cheese you finished last month! Or even the date on someone else's cheese.I am just thinking out loud - nothing I say should be relied upon!
I do however reserve the right to be correct by accident.0 -
Westminster voting intention:
LAB: 45% (+5)
CON: 39% (-3)
LDEM: 7% (-)
UKIP: 3% (+1)
(via Survation / 10 Jun)
Changes with GE2017
Absolutley amazing. Also 150k new Labour party members in the past three days.
After a week of the creationist coalition of chaos it will be more like 50% :rotfl:0 -
Has anyone got an explanation why she went for a 7 week campaign when 3-4 weeks would have almost certainly won a decent majority?0

Why on earth would you think that? I'm pro-Brexit & despite the hopes & wishes of the Remainers on here still think it will happen and happen the way everybody who voted for it intended i.e. out of the single market & no freedom of movement.0 -
I hear Larry, number 10s cat, voted Corbyn after May took away his free meal and warm blanket.0
