To be fair to Jeremy, he asked a senior member of his cabinet to crunch the numbers and see where he really stood.
Diane A duly stepped forward; did a bit of mental arithmetic; and gave her boss the nod.0 -
Conservative logic: Blast Corbyn for IRA links; make deal with DUP.
You couldn't make it up!💙💛 💔0 -
Speaking to the Guardian, former education secretary Nicky Morgan said it was right for the prime minister to stay on and seek to form a government. But she said Mrs May could not fight another election and should take responsibility for the problems with the Conservatives’ campaign.
“I’m reeling. I think we’re all reeling. I think there’s real fury against the campaign and the buck stops at the top," she said.
Can't say I disagree tbh.
There is little chance that a cobbled together govt is lasting more than a few months, and there is sod all chance of it achieving anything of substance.
The only practical solution is for the tories to find another leader, build a proper manifesto and have another election in three months or so.
We cannot continue to have indecisive patched up govt. I would rather have had a labour victory than this. I still think that May was right to call the election and right on the brexit strategy, but the complete mess of this campaign is a true horror show.0 -
There are 2,000,000 at university right now. That's a lot of votes.
And of course if you have kids, or even grandkids, soon to be starting you may believe voting Labour is like giving them £40/50k.
Will come in handy for all those media and travel and tourism degrees.Official MR B fan club, dont go............................0 -

So basically the tories have got to give lots of shiny new hospitals and roads to a bunch of homophobic anti abortionists to stay in power.....but of course it's for the good of the country:rotfl:0
