Putting aside the fact that she is pushing ahead with Brexit and any opinions of Jeremy Corbyn, does anyone really think that Theresa May makes a strong PM?

To my mind she is very weak. We've had a few serious u-turns in the short time since Cameron left office and whenever I've seen her interviewed she has been dreadful. She regularly starts sentences but changes mid way through and starts again (and this, I feel, is why she's dodged the debates).

I just can't see how anyone can feel that she has the charisma needed to lead our country. I'm not saying that Corbyn does either but at least he comes across as human!

I can't see any result other than a Tory win but I'm
simply baffled by people considering TM as strong.

    Agreed.
The big mistake was to turn this election into a personality cult i.e. 'Theresa's Team', 'Theresa strong and stable' yadda yadda...
If your cult leader turns out to be a serial flipflopper, unable to think on her feet, just capable of uttering the same old soundbites with the charisma of a dead fish, you have a bit of a problem.

There's a plenty of 'talent' on the Conservative front bench, the likes of Amber Rudd, David Davis, Andrea Leadsom, Damian Green...people who can actually string a coherent sentence together, but they were hardly used in the campaign.

Still, I believe the Tories will scrape through with a small majority. Theresa is definitely a goner though.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

So - one of the London terrorists was an EU national - and yet I'm supposed to believe that everyone is going to vote Labour - that somehow they've all forgotten about Brexit and immigration????

    Nuts.

A little deeper look into the detail of the yougov poll and it's predicting that Amber Rudd will lose her seat to Labour.

    https://yougov.co.uk/uk-general-election-2017/

Amber Rudd is despised in Hastings at the moment. If she retains her seat then I give up trying to predict anything :(

Does anyone have a view on the young supposedly being guaranteed to vote left? I know the polls indicate this, but I do wonder if this is an accurate summation?

Every time I see her speak I find myself cringing. She doesn't fill me with any confidence at all.

Even if they do turn out they tend to live in University cities and towns which are already Labour - there is no guarantee that if they turn out they will make any difference.

Put it like this; remember similar hooh-hah with the referendum?

Now it might, yes maybe it might but realistically?
    I won't hold my breath.

I see the nasty one is still trying. :p Watch your back (again) Conrad.

So two thirds of the attackers weren't non-Uk EU citizens. Thinking that leaving the EU will rid us of terrorists is a somewhat optimistic.
