After having to have it explained to you in the "Fish" thread, wasn't it?
It is a direct response to the SNP and their attitudes and it says a lot about the strength of anti-SNP sentiment in Scotland when parties decide to combine forces against them.
Will it work?
We will see.
Nationally then, against the Conservatives?
Extremely doubtful.
Well I'm glad that voters in Scotland are making a concerted effort to counter the Scottish Neverendum Party. If I lived in Scotland I would vote for the Raving Loony Party if I thought they could kick out the SNP, although telling them apart would be tricky no doubt.Union, not Disunion

SECURITY AND CORBYN;
Addressing a Stop The War Coalition conference in 2011, he told the crowd: “I’ve been involved in opposing anti-terror legislation ever since I first went into Parliament in 1983”.
……………………………………………………………………………..
Mr Corbyn suggested that he would be reluctant to authorise a drone strike against Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of Isil.
Lord West, a former First Sea Lord and Labour security minister, said Corbyns comments risked alienating the Armed Forces. He said: “By speaking in that convoluted way, he makes the average member of the Armed Forces think ‘Is this guy supporting us or not?’”
Former chief of defence staff: “Jeremy Corbyn, unlike many of his distinguished predecessors in the Labour Party from Clement Attlee through Dennis Healey and beyond, has demonstrated why he should not be trusted with the ultimate responsibility of government – that of the nation’s defence and security.”
The Labour leader was asked what he would write in his “letters of last resort” to British nuclear submarine commanders. The letters dictate what they should do in the event Britain is subject to an attack.
He said his letter would instruct the four commanders only to “follow orders when given”.
Mr Marr replied: “So you don’t tell them to fire or not to fire? They don’t know what to do?”

Election 2017: Labour to scrap minimum income rule for foreign spouses.
This will lead to masses of fake and sham marriages, and one more reason immigration will go through the roof with soft touch Corbyn.
His house building wont touch the sides.

It's not about crossing threads, it's about correcting your attempted deceits.
LOL, your attempts to deride are very funny this morning.
Of course if you kept up with the thread and discussions you would see that I understood what a paper candidate was.
This discussion was on tactical voting however and where I answered I previously used to think there was little impact on tactical voting as it would be too hard to organise among the electorate.
I did then go on to say that I have also witnessed "paper candidates"
So once again, no need for you to get involved or attempt to correct my posts.:wall:

Obviously coming from the Left, but Polly Toynbee's article in today's Guardian is interesting:

I think this sums May up perfectly:We know her better than we did, but the more we see the less there seems to be. Under the stiff carapace is a hollowness, a lack of empathy, language or political imagination.'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
Note: win, draw or lose (not 'loose' - opposite of tight!)0 -

If you do insist on telling untruths you'll get caught out, as you often are.
Don't think I haven't noted your actions towards that poster (MSJ) either, and if I noticed so will others have.
Now don't further attempt your so-called "flaming spiral" with me because it won't work.
Others can see you for what you are.0 -

Where was the untruth?
Where did I not understand what a paper candidate was?
There out in force today. Must be worried about Thursday.
Anyway, back on topic, Thursday will indeed be interesting

Quite so.
Yet another shameful example of the depths of depravity to which some will stoop.
Of course, these never show remorse.
They won't accept when they are wrong even when proven.
It is very, very obvious just who is worried about Thursday isn't it?0 -
Putting aside the fact that she is pushing ahead with Brexit and any opinions of Jeremy Corbyn, does anyone really think that Theresa May makes a strong PM?
To my mind she is very weak. We've had a few serious u-turns in the short time since Cameron left office and whenever I've seen her interviewed she has been dreadful. She regularly starts sentences but changes mid way through and starts again (and this, I feel, is why she's dodged the debates).
I just can't see how anyone can feel that she has the charisma needed to lead our country. I'm not saying that Corbyn does either but at least he comes across as human!
I can't see any result other than a Tory win but I'm simply baffled by people considering TM as strong.0 -

I agree she is coming across badly and has lead a poor campaign. Very nervous disposition tending towards the introverted.
However, Corbyn will turn Britain into a far greater soft touch and this will cost us dear. At every turn cunning 'victims' will seek to make hay, and the honest hard working person will end up paying the cost of this largesse.
His mega borrowing way beyond the Tories will put us all at great risk WHEN the next recession hits. This in turn affects everything else.
Brexit will be a damp squib, most Labour MP's don't even understand the aces we hold and the huge opportunities of Brexit and this halve hearted ignorance will cost us all.
You may well see a mass movement for an independent England when Corbyns soft touch mass immigration and Brexit fail gets rolling0 -

Pretty much my feelings and maybe why to me she comes across that I cannot trust her.:wall:
