Jeremy Corbyn opposes 'shoot to kill' policy
Asked if he was prime minister whether he would be happy to order police or military to shoot to kill if there was a terror attack on Britain's streets Mr Corbyn told the BBC he was "not happy with the shoot-to-kill policy in general"

The difference is that I m prepared to give money to charity if Im wrong, and you aren't.
Which as far as contributions go is quite a lot, Marie Curie will be very grateful for my contribution (and welcome too) if I'm wrong.
Whereas no one will be grateful for your contribution if you're wrong.
so that's the contribution bit sorted out.
Jeremy is unelectable, he will not win.
No one has predicted that Labour will win the election. We're discussing the electoral process, the collapse in the polls of the Tories, and wondering what Parliament will look like on Friday.
You seem to be some Arthur Daley type who's wandered in here looking for Ladbrokes.
I would suggest that Gamblers Anonymous might be a better place for you than a politics forum.
Also, I don't think anyone wants to interact with anyone else here in real life. You included.
Good luck with the 3.15 at Chepstow. I hear Tory Boy is odds on favourite, though he might well fall at the first hurdle.0 -

This is complete and utter rubbish.
Corbyn clarified his comments in 2015. The police should and do, have a right to use firearms to stop a terrorist attack occurring:
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-mp-apologises-for-confusion-over-labours-shoot-to-kill-policy-after-jeremy-corbyn-u-turn-a6738181.html
The UK has never had a shoot to kill policy, and throughout all the years of terrorism occurring on these shores no police force has ever asked for one to be introduced.
They didn't ask for one during the IRA and they weren't asking for one after the terrorist attack in Paris, when David Cameron brought it up to excite the Daily Mail.
The police have always had the legal right to act proportionately to stop crime, as they did the other night.
They don't have a right to execute people on the streets without an investigation afterwards, which is what a shoot to kill policy would actually be.
The officers involved in Charles de Menezes were investigated and found to be acting proportionately based on what they believed the facts on the ground to be at the time.

If Corbyn apologises for slavery, how many billions will it cost us all, that we can ill afford?
Speaking at Labour’s annual conference in Brighton, Mr Corbyn said: “I think we should apologise for the slave trade”

I asked you this before.
He said we should apologise.
Did he say he would commit to any reparation?:wall:

'No one has predicted that Labour will win the election. '
Well you have said how well it's going on the doorsteps.
'You seem to be some Arthur Daley type who's wandered in here looking for Ladbrokes.

actually I don't gamble. But I am prepared to back up what I think with a few quid for charity.
'Also, I don't think anyone wants to interact with anyone else here in real life. You included. '
Possibly. One day I might care.
'Good luck with the 3.15 at Chepstow. I hear Tory Boy is odds on favourite, though he might well fall at the first hurdle.'
insult rather than argument. Blame the meedja on friday morning, because everyone else on the left will.0 -

You have to question why under a Conservative government for the last 7 years, where Theresa May was Home Secretary for the bulk of that time, has security reduced and risk increased.
Those are actions, not words and not a strong position to be in at the moment:wall:

That's because the BBC is biased.
Hang on, scrap that, the BBC is only biased when it reports things against the Tories. Sorry, I forgot that. Move along - nothing to see here!'I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my father. Not screaming and terrified like his passengers.' (Bob Monkhouse).
Sky? Believe in better.
