    So?
Or are you saying that what you think will happen and what you want to happen are the same thing?

you do realise that our economy was performing really very well under Briwn until the USA crashed the entire world with unrestricted free matket gambling over which Brown had no control, don't you?

Blaming him is as logicsl as blaming a driver hit by a falling plane for the accident.

It was all done on borrowed money. PFI and smoke and mirror stuff whereby he kept re-defining his 'Golden Rule' to borrow more and more.

We're still paying the interest today.

    Thanks for your support.

I hope that when old people are scared to go to the doctor in case their house is taken away, the NHS is a memory sold off to the Americans, half the country is fracked, the schools funding crisis turns kids away at the gate, disabled people are on the streets due to bedroom tax, nurses get another 14% pay cut, the Tories add another half a trillion to our national debt, young people pay even more for their education and the housing crisis worsens, and everyone is on zero hours contracts, you remember your protest against... Trident.

    :wall:
I very much doubt any of that will happen if Labour don't get elected, but if they do they will trash the economy.

Explain to me why every child need a free school dinner even if thier parents are well off, why students should be funded for hobby degrees, why the triple pension lock should be maintained, why rich pensions should get WFP and what's the point of Trident if you aren't prepared to use it.

Jeremy was all for disarming police, after all he can just talk terrorists round.

He will welcome huge numbers of 'refugees' at every opportunity.

Putin will toy with him, sending planes into our airspace, once again a nice chat and cup of tea should resolve that...

Corbyn represents a very real danger

Theresa fired 20,000 officers since 2010 including 1,300 trained firearm officers. Would Jeremy fire more. He will have to work hard to beat Theresa.

If Corbyn apologises for slavery, how many billions will it cost us all, that we can ill afford?

Speaking at Labour’s annual conference in Brighton, Mr Corbyn said: “I think we should apologise for the slave trade”

TM`s alleged culpability would certainly explain the tenor of her Downing Street speech yesterday morning. It certainly smacked of a politician desperately talking tough to cover up her own personal involvement in the rationing of money for our public services.

If you are responsible for getting rid of 20,000 police since 2010 including 1,300 firearms officers she must be having trouble sleeping at night.

There is no doubt in my opinion the Tories have done many things wrong (Tax cutting for the rich whilst at least saying your reducing government spending) but actually a policy changing a sex discrimination policy is not one of them.

I don't think you have captured the issue that has been raised.
WASPI agrees with equalisation, but does not agree with the unfair way the changes were implemented – with little or no personal notice (1995/2011 Pension Acts), faster than promised (2011 Pension Act), and no time to make alternative plans.

I actually think these kind of attacks are phenomenally difficult to stop no matter how well resourced the security services are, which is why I found the tone yesterday a bit odd, given it was coming from the person responsible for this area either as Home Sec or PM for the last 7 years.

Fair comment, there aren't any easy answers on this, you can't magically make this go away, it will be a slow grind in terms of continuing to improve intelligence (which isn't likely to be of huge use in attacks like this which don't require much coordination or planning) and continuing anti-radicalisation efforts, which is the most important single thing we can do, we should be continually evaluating whether what we are doing in this area is as effective as it can be.

In terms of the security forces response to the actual attack, it would seem to me that you can't fault it, 8 minutes from first contact to all of the attackers being eliminated seems impressive.

The security forces did a wonderful job. You can't help thinking that 20,000 extra police would have had some effect before the attack happened.

Apologies are free. Issuing an apology and paying reparations are two entirely different things.

David Cameron apologised for Bloody Sunday and for Alan Turing.
