What exactly is the myth? Can you list some examples of things the media says about Corbyn that are not true?

Because everything I see written about him is not only not myth, it's all a matter of public record, and not disputed.

His voting record, including voting against virtually every piece of anti-terrorism legislation, his comments on Hamas & Hezbollah, his dealings with the IRA, all of these are matters of public record. Likewise his economics.
Possibly true but to keep going on about it doesn't seem to be having the desired effect, the Torys might do better if they pushed more on what they would do and had at least given a ball park figure of the caps for winter fuel payment and social care costs.

Best case scenario - LP spend a few years spending money we don't have.

    Worst case scenario - ?

    Dianne Abbott as home secretary.

No where near. People apposed to nuclear weapons are very vocal look at demonstrations but people in favour are much less vocal, I've never seen a March calling for nuclear weapons.

You are quite right to pick me up on the use of myth.
    I replace it with
"the negative picture built up by the media"
    Satisfied?

I'm not a fan of Corbyn but he seems to be doing something right so much so we could now be faced with a hung parliament with the possibility that the SNP might share power.

I cannot see how the SNP could be in a coalition in Westminster.
More probably (in this situation), it could push a minority Labour government with SNP supporting policies that are in alignment with SNP policy i.e. Tuition fees etc.

The more realistic scenario for a minority government is that it would be a Conservative minority (as they will still hold the most seats), but they would have to work a lot more to get concensus across the parties.

Unfortunately I've seen May make zero use of either this campaign, along with Boris Johnson or David Cameron. All 4 would be powerful assets IMO, but for whatever reasons they are nowhere to be seen.
Theresa and her advisors wanted to turn this into a personality cult i.e. Theresa May's team, the words 'Conservative' and 'Party' were somewhere in the small print.

If you want to create a personality cult, it's wise to put someone charismatic in charge, someone able to think on their feet, someone comfortable with interacting with voters. Theresa is none of those.

A bit too late to change course now.

As for Boris, he's a liability. Only a few weeks ago he was getting all enthusiastic about the UK whisky trade. While addressing an audience in a Sikh temple. :)
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

I can't recall an election where I have been less enthused about the leadership of all the parties.

In the end I will vote on the candidates inn my seat, not that it will make any difference as its a safe seat anyway

Got my daily Radio Times email today and they highlight that many people were making fun of Mrs May non appearance last night.
    Look for yourself.

When people make fun or laugh at a leader it's not good news.

You say Corbyn flip-flopped, but it could be construed as great strategising to put May into the corner.
My point was why she did not see this coming.
I reitterate, I wonder if it is because she thinks she would do herself more harm by appearing.

I would agree, she certainly does not come across very well thinking on her feet.

I wonder how you remain convinced that May can deliver Brexit when she is so poor thinking on her feet and would seem to back up on the pre-Brexit negotiation meetings / dinners.
They on reflection would also indicate that she did not do well in those discussions.

What I mean is I think there's little doubt she'll deliver the Brexit most people thought they were voting for (now renamed to "hard brexit" by certain VIs....) i.e. a Brexit that involves quitting the single market, no longer being subject to unrestricted EU migration, no longer being subject to EU law). How good a deal she'll get I have no idea, although my suspicion is it will be decent enough as self-interest (from the other countries) will likely trump EU politicking. That's what I mean when I say she'll deliver Brexit.

By contrast, Labour are paying lip-service to it at best, because they think it's political suicide to do otherwise. I have zero confidence they would go through with it at all if actually in power (most of their MPs & pretty much all SNPs are against it). If they did I think it would be Brexit in name only, probably delayed for years & years & ultimately nothing remotely like "leaving the EU" which is what people voted to do.

May would at least deliver Brexit, something that Labour either wouldn't do at all or wouldn't do in a way that satisfied anybody who voted to leave. That's the point the Tories need to keep hammering home from now.

If they polls stay the same there will be a hung parliament - and I'm sorry I can't see there being a Brexit. The SNP will see to that.

However, Brexit will not go away. Or will it? Maybe voters don't really care enough to have flip flopped so much in 12 months?
