You can see it on Google. Look in the cones there's a lane in, a pedestrian crossing triangle, and a lane out. It maybe that this just goes to a gate for the construction site but it's still a exit and should be considered such.0 -
how are the lane marking ambiguous if they are as posted in the pic, are they?Because there is an arrow in the left hand lane pointing ahead and left,
OK, I understand. You think that the LEFT arrow is for A325 - and the straight on is for the B3208. That's where you're wrong. The left is for whatever is, or is going to be, at that junction under construction. Straight on is the A325, and that makes the B3208 right.
If the other driver was in the right hand lane, going to the the B3208, OR the A325, he was correct.
If you were in the left hand lane trying to get to the B3208, you were wrong. I'm sorry, but it's not ambiguous - it's painted on the road, and I guess there's a sign before that too.0 -
The other driver should have checked to ensure it was safe to exit the roundabout, being on the inside.
At least that was some are saying in this thtead https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/56102020
