    Good morning lovelies!

I survived Day 1 of the Easter holidays, but not without incident.

Tiny pee'd on the sofa when I had to dash out to the driveway gates to let the skip man in (with no make up on and my wet hair in a towel).

Also during this brief absence, BoyDog chewed DH's brand new slippers

A rogue pair of red pants made it into the white wash...
I trod on a chicken and dropped the full egg box...
Made some tasteless kofta kebabs for dinner (well the hounds enjoyed them)...
And finished dinner by pouring a glass of squash over Tiny's head, which did at least stop his whinging temporarily and made DH burst out laughing.

Oh, and I ate a large Easter Egg.

ATB - enjoy your childfree hours today, even if it is work. And I'm making rude raspberries to the PO staff on your behalf. I might take Tiny in there to show them a true toddler terror...

Hope your hound has a good day Duckydo...BoyDog has epilepsy and his fits always upset me, so sending you hugs and dog-snogs x

Large branch flung for your BD Gilly and congrats on the weight loss Valli :j

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone but currently sitting in a Power Rangers battle zone and I must sign off or risk injury...
  • You all make me feel so much better, Ladies you are fabulous. Thank you for always being listening ears and making me :).

Bossy - please do PM me about hot wheels stuff xx
Dizzy - well done on surviving day one. Here's to a succcessful day 2

Off to slurp a brew then go to work xx

    Very belated thanks for list-writers.
    Valli brilliant on weight loss.
    Smiley welcome.
Gilly lots more sticks thrown for BD.

Getting back on track having had a good time with my mum staying since last Thurs, so at least house has been kept tidy and clean-ish. Plus we did some gardening.
Went to physio this morning. Ouch.
    DW on.
    About to put WM on.
Medium 'urgent' list added to large 'must do' list as I'm now behind with lots of "stuff" having had mum to stay.
However on the plus side, cheque arrived from insurance company for my written-off car :T

    Tackling 'urgent' list now......
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Been on a roll while keeping one eye on the window, as NdN asked me to take in a parcel this morning. No sign of it yet, but I have:
S&S cloakroom and en suite -am I the only one here who knows how to put a new loo roll on the holder
Cleaned kitchen surfaces, floor, and mopped through.
Changed DD's bed and put it all including mattress topper through the WM. Now drying on the line.
Changed our bed and queued the bed linen for the WM.
    Dusted and swept bedroom.
Not made it to the cutlery drawer yet, but I'm having a quick sarnie while I write the shopping list, then I'll see if I have time before getting DD from the stables.

    Afternoon :hello:
Good day so far, gave DD a morning bath thanks to the ickysickiness of last night (just full of snot today:o), made beds and emptied all of the bins upstairs. Downstairs I've: emptied wm that was put on sometime in the middle of the night, put another load on, washed up, hoovered downstairs (hound is moulting loads), mopped kitchen floor and given everywhere a good tidy.

Thanks for all the healthy vibes. Our houndbeast has epilepsy too Dizzy it's been tough to get his seizures under control, and he's now on 3 different mess a day inc. a human one I have to get from our local pharmacy. I did get some funny looks the first few times I ordered it:rotfl:

Hugs, sticks and spoons for those who need it.

(((Hugs))) Gilly. It sounds as though you're having a very tough time.

Wow Valli! Fabulously well done. :T:T:T

Dizzy, how do you manage to stay sane? Every time you turn your back one of the littlies or one of the dogs has created a new area of turbulance! How you keep going is beyond me.

The day got off to a *meh* start when I managed to spill a whole mug of fruit tea on the carpet. Carpet now sparkly.
    Better is good enough.
