Jazee we were at Dalby Forest today too, just think we may have walked past each other!!! We got very wet on the way back to the car.

Lovely pic Pigpen I know you hate people being all gushy but you are bl@@dy amazing.

And Dizzy[/B you are amazing too my love. Cant say much to help but sending you big squishy hugs.

I am having 3 days off. No work, absolutely minimal flying, meals out of the freezer. Last day tomorrow then its back to the grind. Think we may be heading to the coast to spend a bit of quality time with DS2.

    Evening all..

Piggers pipsqueak is adorable...and yes those cheeks are so squishable.. :D

Can someone give me back my life please...? I seem to be spending it at Medway Hospital with DH every day. We had plans for Easter that we had to cancel, poor DH can't go in the garden either as he has to keep an eye on the canular in his arm. And to top it all they told us he is to have another 3 days of IV treatment of antibiotics. I tell you this bloody thing that he has had has been a nightmare.. He hates having to be at home and out of 6 weeks he has only been at work for 1 week. He's off next week too as he has to go to the hospital every morning.

Flying wise..well that went out the window when my IBS flared up last week. I have been laid up with the pain and making sure I'm near the toilet area. It's horrible. I've got tablets to take so am just waiting for them to take effect and it to finally start to clear up.

I think we'll have Easter at Christmastime this year.. I don't think anything too major will happen...lol.
Oh and to top it all I'm driving to Wales in a months time to take my sister back after her knee operation.

Still thankfully we are all okay and nothing too serious has got to us...well nothing that we know of. Apart from the husband doing a good impression of a snake and shedding his skin...lol

Hugs and spoons to everyone xxx

Hugs to Dizzy and others who are struggling.
I didn't manage to get to the dawn church service on the cricket pitch this morning as I usually do, but had sort of made an executive decision that as my sleep patterns seem to be a bit haywire at present, getting up at a time I seem to be asleep the best seemed a bad idea. Went to the 11am service instead, and pleased to hear a few nice comments about the flowers I and 3 other ladies had done.

Have finished, checked and submitted the documents to tender for the Uni assessment contract for the next 2 yrs. Not quite as nerve-wracking as the last time as I had kept copies of what I uploaded, but still scary and I had to "modify" once to submit something I'd overlooked. Just need to wait and hear whether I get offered an interview; the submission deadline is 18th and I don't think we had to wait too long last time. Why I want to repeat the madness of all those complex assessments I can't imagine. ££ I suppose although with the hours it takes I'm sure I'd be better with a cleaning job!

Other than that....not a great deal. Had MIL round for dinner, wandered round garden, pulled out a few weeds. May possibly start another report before I turn in for the night.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Morning flyladies.

YSL - we made it back to the car just before the rain really came down fortunately.

Natty - really hope things improve for you and your DH soon.

I have already been for a run today (well fast walking) and I'm just having a healthy breakfast after two days of (grilled) fry-ups with DH. He's at the paid stuff today.

Rubbish is out and next is dusting the dusty bits in the LR, washing up the breakfast dishes, stripping the bed, hoovering through then having a soak in the bath.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Morning all :)

Going for a walk on the beach shortly then to a cafe for breakfast. I love holidays, but I'm already fretting about going home :o being away shows just how hectic our lives are, how much DH is away and how much the kids miss him.

Dizzy - it sounds like your DH is in rejection of parenting mode. It's not acceptable - you seem to be shouldering the burden for pretty much everything to keep your family life ticking over. I really worry that despite your humourous postings, this will make you poorly. I speak from experience of becoming very ill whilst trying to do it all. Have a hug and feel free to PM me, you're always welcome to ATB towers xx

YL - enjoy the coast! Well done you for having some much deserved time off, you enjoy it love xx

Dancemum - did you manage to get out whilst the befriender came round? X

Natty - big hugs love xx

Time to get dressed and out in the fresh air xx
