I am trying to decide whether to have my brown ankle boots soled and heeled or just throw them; the repair, and it's necessary, would be over £10 and the boots are probably at least 5 years old. Thing is, in winter, I live in ankle boots. Decisions, decisions. I have already thrown one pair this year.
Fwiw, I had my 30-year-old ankle boots (affectionately known as my Granny Weatherwax boots) soled and heeled recently. :o
Sorry to hear about porkies on BIL's blog. Only comfort I can offer is that you know you have nothing whatever to reproach yourself with; I remember you posting at the time that you'd offered help and been rebuffed. Please don't let it eat you up. (((HUG)))

Duckydo healing energy on it's way to woofer; hope he's recovered from his seizure.

Bossy I've never gotten involved with online selling or car boots because I just couldn't cope with the stress if anything didn't go smoothly. All our useful-but-not-for-us items go to the nearest animal charity shop.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Have had a lovely time out with my friend. She too is on SW (different group though) and we kept each other on track...lunch was Jacket spud and baked beans.
Have bought two new pasta bowls - we use them lots and I only had 4.
30+ years I have been driving past that place...and intending to visit!

    Welcome Smiley.

Thanks for the kind words all.

Flying - peeled stickers off new pasta bowls and put them in DW :rotfl:

We need to get dressed and go to the post office. I've packed their bags for two nights with grandparents so just need to ignore the bickering until then :rotfl:

The bickering is incessant here at the moment :(. Made the mistake of taking both kids to the post office this afternoon (had a few jobs to do) - DS is 3 and would not stand nicely with me at all, preferring to run round like a loon. Try as I might to chastise/bribe him, nothing worked and the post office workers looked at me like we were pondlife. I abandoned what I was doing and left in tears. Why can't people be a little kinder?

Sorry for the rant. Done two WM loads, and vaccuumed upstairs. Everybody fed, nobody dead will have to be good enough for me today x

ETA Bossy - if Master Moo is selling any hot wheels, ninja turtles stuff or general car bits I would gladly buy them and stash them away for when DS is a little older. PM me if you like with a little listy of what you're selling xx

Just popping in to say hello,

Not flying, just about surviving the BD attack

DD's dog had to be PTS. Daisy [STRIKE]is[/STRIKE] was our dog's mum

DH was made redundant but we are looking to fight as an unfair dismissal case, long story but hey ho

My favourite auntie has been diagnosed with Alzheimers, it is her 90th Birthday on Wednesday so aiming to get to see her even though it is a 350 mile round trip.

Hope you are all well xxx

Glad you had a nice day in the end Valli.

Bossy and atb I remember the bickering days well. In fact I remember going to see my SIL who has kids the same age as me and finding her in tears because she was so sick of her two arguing all the time. Dont let anyone judge you atb, you are doing a great job.

DS1 has been revising and is now off to his gfs. I probably wont see him until some time on Wednesday. I have had a sickly headache all day so skipped the gym and came straight home. I am hoping that an early night sorts it.

Roast dinner for tea, kitchen is something like clean and tidy but DS1 has just come in from work and DH is in for the last sitting tonight so it will need to be finished off later.

Going to do an hours paid stuff then curl up in my jim jams.

gilly sorry you are having a tough time. Throws stick for BD.

Bossy aren't flyladies wonderful. As you know I don't have sproglets so can't help.

I rock:j I've been running around like a loon all day.

The bathroom and cloakroom are spotless. I'll do the kitchen in a minute. After that I'm going to rearrange the study. I now have room having sold on the multi gym.

    PT and run decluttered.

Work done - took me less time than I expected.

Prepped breakfasts and lunch tomorrow. Dinner out.

Finally - bath and bed. I'm knackered.

Thanks for all the kind welcomes. What a friendly bunch :)

I didn't get to the end of level three but I got most of it done. Just the dining furniture to wipe down and fridge. Probably should declutter kitchen cupboards at some but I can do that in my 15 minutes.
    Feeling pretty pleased with myself.
Do I really need it? Probably not.:A
