    But remember that you might not be using the stock Messaging app ... what's the name of the SMS app that you actually use?
    The phone is a Motorola G4
    The messanging app is the stock one - called "messages"
    I have just found Clear Cache - silly me
    I have cleared it and will try another txt

    I've started seeing this too. Samsung using Google Messages (not Samsung Messages). Any ideas?
