Where should i move to

Of course you could always move to Wales or is that worse than the Midlands ?0

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-65280650.html Here you are this is zone 5 on the tube for people working in central London. You can find out how much the annual season ticket for travel to central London costs.
As you can see this is let agreed so you can get an idea of what people pay in zone 5 in London. The further in you go the higher the rents. So zone 3 in walking distance of a station would be a higher rent.0 -
Have looked myself for deprived areas, my budget will be £600 a month for rent loads of choice I guess just got to look at areas with plenty of jobs suitable, The area I live currently lacks jobs I want, have looked at Bath, Exeter, Plymouth, Wokingham, Brighton, Bristol, and so on don`t mind living on the outskirts within a few mile radius to get there, my best bet will be going for a look around the areas0

Have you looked at:BBC Where can I afford to live? posted on earlier?
With your budget £600 a month for rent for two bedrooms that limits you to middle, north of the country and Wales.
I think you can't go wrong with Wokingham?0 -

Your first post came across as aspirational, now you're looking for a cheapo property in a deprived area??? £600 won't even get you a flat in a decent area in Bristol, Bath etc.
Where/ what is your girlfriend studying? Are you a trainer in engineering or are you a trainee?0 -

In the South East, £600 a month will rent you a shoe box in a nice area, or a tiny flat in a nasty area!!!
I'm from the midlands, but currently living in Oxfordshire. Yes, it is pretty, but so ridiculously expensive to live. I would love to move back to the midlands as we could sell our family home here and live in a similar house almost mortgage free!
A 'nice' place to live would be one where you can afford a decent family home.
I would be staying in the midlands, but perhaps move to a nicer area!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Six years ago we bought a five bed house in rural Wiltshire for roughly the same price as 22 year old DS paid (at the same time) for a two bed flat in SW London (Colliers Wood). Stats showed our location to have less than six crimes per month, whereas in DS's immediate area there were several hundred.
Three years later we both sold up and bought again. His 680 sq ft flat sold for the same price as our 2500 sq ft house. DS bought in Brighton, us in the West Midlands. We are in a very leafy conservation area with large detached houses, professional types and lots of expensive cars - a neighbour has an Aston Martin DB8 - and a similar crime level to our previous house.
DS, otoh, who lives in a grade two listed regency terrace with residents' garden opposite, has once again found himself in an area where crime is off the scale and paraphernalia associated with drug taking is frequently found in the residents' garden where they walk their dog.
Brighton, is of course seen as being the more desirable locationMortgage-free for fourteen years!

Did you find this in the London area? http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-65658647.html It is further in than Harrow but not a good area which is what you said you wanted.0 -

Yes and he said deprived areas. I don't know anywhere that is deprived enough in London where you can get more than a room in as shared house for 600pcm.
If he is paying 600pcm or less where he is now I would suggest that he stays there.0
