Thanks Anna .:) Credit card co. Very understanding .
It would be nice if they reduced the amount . The great thing about internet is that you can complain about things quicker .
I could quote other companies prices now I know what he actually did .

Just back from the gym .
Checked emails . The company wanted me to give my no. To discuss.
Just received call. They'll get onto the engineer and will get back to me . Thing is, I don't want the engineer coming back to do my windows .

Before getting workmen in to do anything AC you should get quotes from at least 2 or 3 companies, preferably in writing (email). That way they cannot then bill you for additional costs unless they have told you about unforeseen extra costs and given you the chance to investigate further.

Normally I do enthusiadtic What came over me:)
I paid by credit card.immediately as , although I've never had to do a dispute before that I may have been protected if I'm not entirely happy with the service I received. I mentioned m s e and also the extortionate cost initially quoted . I also mentioned that I tried maplins and one other company mentioned by freesat that I would've used if they could do the work in my area . The lady asked how much I expected to pay and I told her. The invoice lists the job which apparently is a bog standard run of the mill job .
Interesting to see what is sauid when I am phoned back

James will be round tomorrow . Not as round as me . I'll have to miss gym tomorrow as I need to be here making as much space as possible
He should be taking away a lot of bulky stuff .
On Thursday the recliner arrives . I'll have to juggle around and try to find room for that . I know where it has to go. Just need to make sure it goes and stays there . I'll get there one day

Is the recliner the last thing to arrive?

Off topic totally but eldest daughter got her degree results last night and it was FIRST from Newcastle Uni in French, Spanish and Chinese. So bloody proud of her :T! Sore head this morning :rotfl::rotfl:
