As for wardrope as a temporary measure could you get some clothes rails I got a few on Gumtree about a £5 each.

As for Payplan you've been given excellent advice so won't add anymore but they statement you see online with Payplan is not the balance your creditors have. They might have frozen interest they might not you need to get that confirmed obviously.

I hope you enjoy your new flat and will be happy living there. Also good luck with the gym ask for a trial session before you commit, try before you buy.

I second the suggestion by TallGirl to get a clothes rail. We have one even though we have wardrobes and after washing shirts, dresses etc when weather bad I hang them up in one of our spare bedrooms to dry on it and they often then don't need ironing. Saves using tumble dryer. MSE tip there.

    Thanks folks !
Just had a call from insignia blinds . Blinds fitted Thursday morning .
Should be getting wardrobe this week . I've just been doing the final clean around the present flat . I've got a couple of trips to do taking stuff to my new flat . Looks like I'll be 'sleeping ' in the new flat tonight. That dyson that the landlady has is p@@s poor!
A small piece of plastic chipped off the top and flew somewhere on the floor . Hope she doesn't notice or create . Everything is as it was other than that . I will be over agin tomorrow . She is due on Thursday .
There are a couple of towels being washed at the moment . Then tumble dry .
I feel like I could sleep now , but must keep going .
Must remember to take stuff from fridge/ cupboards etc also .

I thought your tenancy ended on the 29th? If it started on the 30th, then it ends on the 29th. You're not going to get charged another months rent are you?

    Thanks folks
Just moved in . Givervamp, thankfully I won't be charged any more rent . Landlady couldn't make today, and will go through all itinery on Thursday . It helped me no end tbh . I've cleared everything except a large bundle on my bed has to come over tomorrow , along with paperwork and a couple of basses .
It's obviously very weird and strange on this my first day .
What I have noticed is that the kids are running up and down the stairs and it's after 9pm. Hopefully , I'm only noticing this as the flat is full of junk and I haven't got anything on except my bedside radio.'
If worse comes do the worse, I could move again . The headline on the ad for this flat was 'attention investors ' . I'll give everything a chance and hope that I'm over worrying . Im lying on bed at moment as it has been a tiring kind of day . I suppose my senses may be heightened as I'm in new surroundings . Loving the smell of the newness though . Forgot to take my iPad with me and phone charger.

Morning AC, sounds like serious declutter time - maybe realise some cash from your surplus items?
