I hope the Tangerine Dream is the group and not the paint colour! I love to play music when I have a long task to do - seems to make the time go quicker. Wish I could find my Paul Simon Graceland cd. It's not in the cd player, not in its case. Not in the case of the cd which is in the player, and I know I haven't lent it to anyone. I guess one day I will have to go through them all methodically but now I know it's missing I really want to play it.

Go on you tube and play it from that :)

    Yep:)
It'll probably look like a mental instutution once completed .
The previous colour was a muddy brown ( coffee?).
Would look good in a bigger environment, but not here .
Everything seemed dark . The previous owner painted the whole flat the same colour . Then the carpets were brown also .
I understand light and shade, but this was just...shade

Omg I hate anything brown.Think it's cos that was the colour of my school uniform :rotfl:

So I saw. James late morning. He put a few new doorstops in the flat.
He liked the painting I did in the kitchen . He did me a favour and put a picture up in the kitchen . There is quite a lot of worktop left over and I haven't room for it . So, he has been given another job: make shelves. And make use of the kitchen cupboarspd . He will do that Tuesday week .
I asked him to send me a combined bill for both kitchen jobs.

I tipped him today , as initially I thought that was his lot . A bit too early, but I've done it now . He was reluctant to take it . If I knew I had another job it would've been Tuesday week . Oh , well. At least I looked after him.:)

    So far, so good ...

I've just done the 2nd coat in the bedroom . Tomorrow , I'll do the first coat in the living room . Had an email from mr. Carpet. I could have next Monday , Tuesday or Thursday for the fitting. Something tells me Thursday.
It means I have more time to do any touching up and clear any splosges etc. James is back next Tuesday to do the kitchen cupboard and hopefully have the right size shower door .

Getting there AC. Giving yourself until Thursday is sensible to get all the painting done.

We are knee deep in decorating at the moment as well but only one bedroom. Just finished woodwork. Not white though ;)

I love 'popping by' (virtually) to see how you're getting on. Is the living room the last one to paint? You seem to have got into your stride now, are you sleeping longer at night after all this exercise?

Just "popping by" whilst waiting for my dinner.

    Currently in St Petersburg. Fab.

Whilst I'm away on holiday my son is decorating my bedroom......

That's my kind of decorating. :rotfl:

Keep up the good work, AC - nearly there.

Seeing as I'm in Mother Russia today, I'll skip the G&T and go for Vodka......:D

    Hello triple choc:)
Nice of you to pop by again. After the living room, I have to paint the bathroom. Annoying really, as the paint on there( magnolia ) looks good . However, it looks tired and it needs a lick of paint to make the whole bathroom new. I think that's more or less it :)

No , still not sleeping much although I fell asleep on the chair in living room.
Fell asleep after doing the painting on fri, but until I'm settled I can't see myself getting back a proper sleep, pattern .
