Hi folks ! Hope you all had a good weekend, and are having another one. Something like that :rotfl:
Well, my 2 sisters arrived on sat afternoon , and stayed until Tuesday
Apart from the excessive heat ( for me anyway), it was a great weekend and it was great to see them again .
We had meals out in a pub near me a couple of times, and a few drinks here and there. Managed to get them down to Poole on Monday
They convinced me to forget about the kitchen table idea and the idea I had of getting the remainder of my carpet off cuts converted into rugs . They slept well on the inflatable bed etc.
They provided a woman's touch around the place and uplifted the place . They like the flat, the area I'm in and Poole also .
I had a phonecall on Monday evening from my Geordie friend , and he has to go to bath for a wedding . So, he ended up visiting me en route and we had a few ciders/ beers with my other friend who lives up the road ( we all know each other) . He's in derby now. He. Likes the flat and location where I'm at .
All these people visiting , and I'm still not finished sorting my stuff out from the move. It was aboutb2 weeks ago that I couldn't move in the hallway because of the clutter. The clutter is now in the boiler room.
There is a mountain of stuff to sort out still . There's stuff in my bedroom that needs to be sorted also.
So a summary : the tv area is still a mess . I need either a cupboard made to tidy everything up, or stand . My geordie friend reckons I should just ditch the clutter and get a decent Bluetooth speaker.
He also thinks I should either ditch my table in the living room or one of my leather settees . He slept on the larger one and had a good sleep .
I received an email from James, and basically told him I only need him for a cabinet . He'll probably nip around next week.
The only other thing I need to get is a new computer , as the one is way too old for almost everything .That is all. No more spending .
I have yet to pay wescot/ payplan . That will be Monday now due to my surprisingly busy situation . May do it tomorrow .
Then I must workout everything . Budget x3 .
I thought about signing on , but I'm not fit/ ready to work yet.
I'm not in the mood to get treated like crap and belittled by the gvt just yet. I will start looking all going well in Jan for part time work.
Fingers crossed for that .0 -

Good to hear you've been having a very sociable time and that your sisters have helped make your place more homely!
Can't believe it's September already, January will be here before you know it.0
