Just deal with head office from now on or find another Game store.0

Not all Game store managers are like that, I agree with what Neil said, find another Game store thats easy to get too to sort it or speak to head office.0

Ring head office tell them you now realise you were missold the warranty.
How did you pay?0 -
You weren't made to buy a warranty, nobody made you buy anything.
If the console was being sold on the basis of a warranty being purchased as part of the bundle then so be it, its called supply and demand, you could have walked away at any time.0 -
Thanks for your replies everyone.
The manager has apologied to me and has unblocked me on Twitter.
It's more the principle. I want him to refund me it because he's the one who's made me go through all this because of his attitude.
@bris for him to sell me a package it needs to he displayed on his shop floor. There were no signs or details given of any type of package, which said the warranty is included. It was up to his discretion and he thought he could milk the situation of it being a new release console.
I know another game store will happily take it but I want to resolve it with him, he can't block his customers & behave like this - it's completely unacceptable tbh.0 -

He can and he did.0 -
Well technically he can, but should he block customers paying £400+? No.0

It's all about the "principle" now is it. In which case you don't need any further help from us.0

Well as they're a business and you may put customers off, then economically yes he should.0 -
Yes - because he was breaching my consumer rights and is probably doing this to others, so it makes sense to resolve the issue with him I'd imagine?
Unless, you mean it's okay for him to do this..?0
