Resisted the temptation to post on this thread yesterday, but now that doozer has been getting nasty PMs I feel some things need saying.
You are arranging to meet people you've only met on the internet. Fine, you're all adults (I hope!)
Have a great time, but do be sensible; tell someone where you are going etc.
I would also suggest that you PM each other with details of the venue rather than post on an open forum...

Good point well put. When I met Mr Phirefly for the first time in person he perhaps should have been given a similar warning. Poor sod had no idea that four years later I'd have him shackled to the stove, signed up to a 30 year mortgage and lying alone in a cold bed while I stay up all night drawing silly pictures for people to wear on their t-shirts....0 -
Stop being so grown-up Silvercar, I never told anyone where I was going when I went to the GHPC one. Mind you I was abducted..."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -

(So he's just your identical twin brother then? :rotfl:)

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

Drat, when I finally got through they'd all gone."Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
