    The George Inn is quite a nice pub. Lots of small rooms though which may be a problem if there are a lot of people.

    The Thameside Inn has been dead whenever I've been in there. Just the odd tourist (very odd some of them).

    I still reckon Clerkenwell is the best bet. Very easy to get to from all the mainline stations. There are a couple of places on Clerkenwell Green that are good. If there are loads of us, the Hogshead off Cowcross Street is huge and not too busy at the weekends (and pretty good for a Hogshead).

    My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say ;)

    This would be a good ice-breaker -

    Someone prepares some typical MSE questions like

    " Should I get into BTL"
    " I can't sell my house, what should I do"?
    " Will there be a house price crash"?
    etc.

    Everyone must then give their reply and we have to guess who is who from what they say.
