I met Generali tonight for dinner in the West End - great guy, nice to meet him in person!
So, when is the next MSE Housing Buying/GHPC meet-up? I think we need to organise another one!
*****
UPDATE:
All MSErs, regulars or otherwise, are welcome to come along to the Market Porter in London Bridge (in, erm, London) on November 17th, 2pm onwards. I expect we'll be finishing pretty late, so latecomers are welcome!

London Bridge is fairly accessible from all sides of the city. Waterloo & London Bridge stations are close by, whilst Moorgate, Kings Cross/St Pancras & Paddington are all on the Northern and Jubilee Lines.
A tube map can be found here:

MSE Hotels in the area include:

I'll be there, as will Generali & Doozergirl (and hopefully many more). Let me know if you have any questions!
Hope to see you then,
Melissa

Well, I'm thinking a post Christmas meet-up for GHPC, maybe the first Saturday in February (December is too busy, everyone is in re-hab in January but needs a fillip in February.)"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
Mrs. Pench took the money. "What will you do with it all? Not that it's any of my business," he giggled.
"I think I'll become an alcoholic," said Betty.0 -
Hmm, but February is five months away...
I agree December is ridiculously busy though.
What about mid-November?Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0 -

What about mid-November?
Don't forget that us non-London MSE'ers need to be able to buy our tickets 12 weeks in advance for the best deals"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.

Buy a car!
I don't do public transport unless I'm in London and even then I'd rather walk than catch a bus.

Not necessarily - there was an article yesterday in the Times which talked about how fares went up and down in price depending on demand.

I have a car, but
1) I'm a bit of a greenie
2) I've driven in London once, it's not something I ever need to do again
3) Based on the last GHPC pub meet, I'll not be fit to drive for several days after
4) I'll probably be car-jacked"Mrs. Pench, you've won the car contest, would you like a triumph spitfire or 3000 in cash?" He smiled.
