Thank you for April EE!
Today I am grateful for big sis and I making quick decisions, for not clashing over choices, for seeing mum, for a super smooth journey home, for good chats, for hugs from dd, for dh cooking tea, for a plan for tomorrow, for a friend dropping off a lot of fabric for me to look through, for my own snuggly bed to sleep in.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Today has been a NSD taking me to my target. Tomorrow won't be as me and OH are going to do the big monthly shop so I will end the month on 16/16
. Thank you for this months challenge EE.
Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
Mortgage overpayment savings - £3.33/£50
Mortgage overpayments so far - £675.980 -
categorically not an nsd today
Took little person to town to allow OH time to crack on with the garden.
Started well with a delightful find of a swimming costume in a shop we got a wedding voucher for - used the left over £5 to get a boring-but-essential black top (I wear these under most things).
Then went looking for a down jacket as I'm permanently cold at the moment (still adjusting to the loss of my security blanket fat layer) - found one in Joules that was gorgeous and at half price ams after a full 5 seconds umming and ahhing I bought it. It's a size 10 and OH said 'a perfect fit'. Rather pleased with that and as my last coat lasted 6 years and has found its forever home with my twin...who has spent the entire 6 years hankering after it... I really don't feel even the slightest pamg of guilt!
Savings going well. No more weight to lose but lots of toning and conditioning. Ready for all that May has to bring!
Well done to everyone on here (goals achieved or still in progress) - we're stronger together x

Today I am grateful for some lovely fabric gifted by a friend, for being able to recycle the fabric that is not so lovely, for a fun time at the rec with dd, for getting some stuff dried outside, for getting some moderation done, for a quick and easy and scrummy tea (hm chicken satay with a salad), for the speed of contact with people nowadays, for having more than enough.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Last post for the month
Small shop today (less than £10) but still waaay under budget.
Decluttered more than 230 items this month(including some bundles of items - so way more than that actually went)
Today's I am thankful that/ for:
* I had DD home from uni for 3 weeks (although she's gone back now and I won't see her for another 6 weeks)
* I was able to send her back with 4 carrier bags full of groceries including homemade goodies
* chicken pie - comfort food
* Line of Duty on tv tonight
See you all in May
