Wrote a post earlier and the internet failed as I tried to post it. Went to crafts today - very quiet. Very sleepy and eyes a bit sore from sewing. New glasses should be here soon, I know I am peering over the top rather than through the lenses when doing close work.

Today I am grateful for better internet (Ds3's friend visited and souped up both of their computers and my internet access has improved on recent days), for gentle companionship and birthday cake at crafts and for leftovers.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Its a good job you all do as I say and not as I do.

I mentioned a review of goals and trying to plan the weeks spends into hopefully less days - well it nearly worked for me....

On Tues I got butter and also some GF cereal bars to have and thought that was it for the week then yesterday I get a text from DS who announces he has drunk all the coffee and there is one spoonful left!! So yesterday was a spend as well!!

It is lovely having my son home from Uni but he has eaten and drunk the cupboards bare - I was worrying that we had to add another £100 to the food budget this month but then realised DS has been here 5 weeks so need to account for that.

So if he texts me today I will tell him to do without - I need to get my NSD's up!!

Well done everyone on your review for the month - everyone is doing fabulous!!

Haha! I SO know where you're coming from!! - DD has been home from uni for almost 3 weeks and had her bf here for a week too. She might be a tiny slip of a thing (and he's not a big lad) but the pair of them just seem to hoover up anything vaguely snack related in a matter of hours - as I have 3 others (all boys, all at school) who need feeding, this has been vaguely irritating. She doesn't even tell me when things run out - I just discover it (I think I'm meant to have ESP;)) I added £100 to the budget this month to cover - and I know that she'll take back at least a week's worth of groceries with her on Sunday, so she'll strip my cupboards/ freezer even further then!

I love her to pieces - but she has been incredibly lazy these hols

Quiet day yesterday. Just a walk and not much else. Today will be different. C's going out all day so I have lots of house type things planned to make up for my laziness over the last wee while.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Apologies, the trouble with being off sick from work - have double the amount of work to do and unfortunately forgot my password to log in at home lol
Thanks for well wishes back to 100% now, just painful finger .

    Update so far
    Aim for 16 NSDs
Think I am on 16 up to yesterday. Need some veg so will do wee shop this afternoon.

Plan- make a new budget Try to keep mine updated but fallen down this month as completely forgot about NT membership - so will have to make sure nothing else is unbudgeted for.

Rest - Admit to being rubbish at sitting down doing nothing. However had a lot of bed rest with being ill last week - so that could count ?

Love - love your garden - Mine is usually more spotless than my house. However need a few boards screwing back and need to sort out my rotten fence post, waiting on a man who does- story of my life.

Invite - seen what family have here lots over Easter and lovely 3am chats with DD in Sydney - she still doesn't get time difference.

I treated myself to a Jacket and 2 tops yesterday - part of my reward plan. When I reach certain levels of debt - treat time. So I reached 2500 pounds left to clear from 13039 starting figure. I do feel guilty and perhaps the thirty pounds should have gone off debts.

Laura - hope funeral went well hugs.

    Abundant
    - Well done getting off your meds, imagine that is difficult to do and nearly debt free. How is the dating going? Spill.

Hope everyone is well and bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Definitely not a NSD here today. Kids came home from school with ALL the letters for ALL the after school clubs and school trips and swimming lessons ALL on the same day.

Between the two primary kids it was £78.50!! and that is only up until 27 May!

The school says it is subsidising the cost but I don't see how they possibly can be.

Good job I was so frugal at the start of the month.
