Mothernerd and EE - Both your sons sound really like mine. He has lots of computer bits and pieces and games in piles all over the place but he knows where everything is, There are a lot worse things than being a bit untidy and he is a very nice. kind boy who works very hard.. Having said that he's been off work for three weeks so I'm having a strong coffee before entering the room.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Good morning all! First 'proper' (non weekend) day of the Easter break here. DD and bf came back yesterday and OH has gone off to work this morning, not returning until Thurs evening. 2 lots of washing on line and 3rd in machine (got up at 6) Have cleaned out the guinea pig hutch and it os currently airing and can be refilled later. None of the teens are up (although all awake) Much cooler here today. Plans are just some chilling and sorting out of things (starting in DS3's room) Have a fleebay sale to post, but will combine that with the trip to the dentist this afternoon for the 3 boys. May also need to buy yet more milk - we'll see. If all I buy is milk then I will still claim NSD as I bought 20 pints on Sat -can't fit all I need for a week in the fridge at one go! If I don't buy it today then I will definitely need to buy it tomorrow.

Abundant - well done on stopping and closing off the account :)

SkintTeacher - fab weightloss :) Hope you have a relaxing (as much as poss) run up to the wedding :)

    Hi everyone.

Just working out my SFD's include today will be 6/15 quite pleased with that.

Got a day off tomorrow, I hoping I don't spend but think my friend wants to do lunch out grr.

Well done Abundant on closing account - must be hard to do. Good you realise it's a problem now.

No other breaking news, back still causing pain down both legs at night so lack of sleep making me grumpy today.

Lunch - soup from freezer - actually love butternut soup now.
Tea - left over meatballs with some pasta and veg.

Debating whether to use my 10 off 60 shopping and free delivery with sainsbobs or just get what I want from Aldee for the weekend. Aldee got the edge at the moment.

Skint teacher wow done brilliantlywith your weight bet your getting excited now. Have to share tips how to reel them in with me and Abundant lol

    Hi all,

Yes I have a bath apple and intend to use it.

Hope you have a great break too ccl

The holiday is absolutely lovely but unfortunately one of my dogs was acting odd yesterday so my dog sitting friend took him to the vets where he started having fits :( He seems to be stable today, and they've put it down to very low blood sugar as he'd ate very early (as I was catching my flight) and been active for a lot of the day. Fingers crossed he is able to go home today and they're going to call me with the bill later. It'll be huge but I'm so glad he's alive and hopefully it was a simple one off issue.

Fingers crossed the relaxing can start today.

Well done on deleting your account abundant

Today I am grateful for time spent with mum, for music on utube, for getting a workout done (divebomber, lunge and dancing crab!), for getting out and about despite the drop in temperature, for finding some felt for big sis, for time to think and ponder, for being able to read a map and therefore not get lost when trying a new route, for trees and birds, for having a warm and safe place to sleep, for dh and dd joining me tomorrow.

Thank you JoB for your reply.

  • Waves- Hello everyone been out of action last few days as things have been pretty rubbish. I am aiming for a full non spend week apart from essentials. (only thing I need is washing liquid) I am actually going to be doing a full spend year.

NSD - didn't get milk, so will have to get it tomorrow. Have made a start on DS3's room - lots of toys sorted for pricing for NNS and some magazines and books removed for recycling/ pricing, depending upon their condition. Also a few items of clothing removed - too small/ worn out. Still lots to do in there, but it's good to have actually got something done as a start. DS2's room is way worse, so I've gone for the slightly easier option of DS3's, as I will see the results sooner - and they are likely to last longer :D

3 loads of washing done/ dried today - so I have a massive ironing mountain to start to tackle later after smallest ones are in bed.

    Today I am thankful for:
    * DS3 being so agreeable about lots of things going
    * warmish weather to dry all the washing
    * leftovers making easy meals for me :)

    Evening everyone...

Thankyou everyone for your comments. Hugs to you all.

SkintTeacher - Can't believe your wedding is so close! I'm gonna keep everything crossed that the weather stays as nice as it has been. You're going to look fab!

Calling - Agreed. Dating/relationship tips welcome haha! That said I'm on date number 3 at weekend - though the commitment-phobia is setting in already lol

JoBloggs - That's a great idea. I usually have water on me but munchies... Good plan!!! What kinda stuff do you pack? I'm just being nosey haha!

Fmess - I hope the doggy is better soon

    Today I am grateful for:
    • The opportunity to make a difference
    • Great weather again
    • A laugh at work
Today I gave something for a collection and so was a spend day in the end. I will be leaving the wallet at home tomorrow!!!

Have a good evening all x

A very lazy day, stayed up until the early hours embroidering and then reading then slept late (took pills at appropriate times). Just finishing the letters (1 + 1/2 to do) which will nearly complete this piece of work. Clean pots have been put away and have eaten from food in the house.

Today I am grateful for good weather, cooler but still bright, for making up my own timetable (may do the kitchen or bathroom if I can't sleep later) and for starting to make sense of things.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.
