Here is the text of the letter:

"Having reviewed the information you've supplied, we've decided that for a quick resolution to this matter we will close the account and clear any outstanding balance.

If we're reporting a default on your credit file, we will arrange for this to be removed".

    It says balance: £0.00

I have no idea. The debt had been sold on, but I assumed that any ppi would go to reduce the balance. I'm guessing it probably still will. I can't really complain I don't think!

    3. [STRIKE]£6,892.00[/STRIKE]/ £0.00 :j :j :j
    4. [STRIKE]£4,022.00[/STRIKE]/ £4,008.00
    5. [STRIKE]£2,380.00[/STRIKE]/£1,900.00
    6. [STRIKE]£4,586.00[/STRIKE]/£4,568.00

    8. [STRIKE]£1,175.00[/STRIKE]/£0.00 :j :j :j

    [STRIKE]£34,557[/STRIKE]/£25,886 = 25.09% paid

Oooh, if by some miracle debt 2 agreed a F&F, I'd have no single debt over £5k. That would be amazing psychologically, but I can't see it will happen.
